Comparing your suggestions to ZTE Blade and Optimus One, these two are quite superior in terms of pixel size and ram.

1. Is ram going to affect the performance much? coz i'm aiming for at least 512MB of ram, or 256MB is enough?

2. Secondly, is the Optimus One already stopped in production? coz hardly find shops selling this unit these days.

1. Yes, will kinda effect. 256MB is kinda low but if the proccessor is fast, that would balance things up smile.gif
2. Maybe. But aren't u finding 2nd hand 1?

1. I noticed that most low-range and mid-range Android phones used the same proc, Qualcomm MSM7227 only some at 600 and some 800. does this mean that manufacturer just overclock it a bit and sell it at higher price?

2. Just that, some shop's owner, they don't even know Optimus One if I asked them if they got a 2ndhand unit. doh.gif

1) Yup, just overclock. Actually I would strongly suggest u to top up and get a used huawei ideos X5, the proc is underclocked from 1GHZ brows.gif , different chipset. Or SE live with walkman(AP set) and xperia mini/mini pro(not x10 mini pro)
2) Lol, some workers will know 1 la how can dunno this famous model?

Hi, i need help here

1. Brand: anything except Sony Ericsson
2. Budget: 1.5k and below, preferably around 1k.
3. Specs: upgradable to ICS
4. Requirements: (Decent camera, durable, performance(gaming))

Currently i have HTC Incredible S, Desire HD and Galaxy W in mind..

Currently looking for an android phone

budget Rm1800 and below

specifications needed
1 need something with long battery life
2 a phone that wont lag badly
3 durable phone
4 awesome camera
5 great graphics

Please help me asap need to get it before next week. Is samsung galaxy s2 that great ? I thought i buying HTC but seeing as you all have given bad reviews for it. Please help

hi there again,

CSL Mi410 price is going down quite fast imo, is it no good?

now around 599, 2ndhand can get 400, just right budget for me.

Come to think of it, gaming is not a priority. If i take away gaming, any other smartphones to recommend?

I think o2x should be better since atrix got locked bootloader and not many custom ROMS as far as I know

With rm1.5k you can get a second hand sgs2.

why you don't like sony ? the arc s has a veryy decent camera, almost on par with n8. go to the phone screenshoot section for examples.
