and almost confirm that galaxy w will not get ICS . Maybe get 2.3.7

maybe neo v / ray will do . confirm ICS in 1month + time .

Arc S have better cam , larger screen , more pixel + screen clearity , HDMI output + ICS update

galaxy w is cheaper and have front cam .

advantages : HDMI output with cable in package , nice cam with fast capture , panorama photo , nice gapless 4.2inch reality display which show accurate colour , cheaper alot than the others 3 like RM 700

disadvantages : single core , no front cam , lower contrast / viewing angle

galaxy note
advantage : big screen , with stylus that interact with applications , super amoled screen which give nice contrast

disadvantage : oversaturated colour ( mean the screen will appear to be more colourful than you should see )
perhaps too big , expensive

galaxy nexus
advantages : ICS rdy , highest pixel density among all which give sharpest image

disadvantages : 5mp cam ( although quality is good but cant compare with other 8mp ) , oversaturated colour , no physical button

galayx sII
advantages : thin (7mm) , and probably porpular ( easy to find soloution for ur problem )

disadvantage : lower pixel count although the price almost the same with the other two galaxy , bad audio output , oversaturated screen ( someone like it tho ) , plastic feel , expensive although already long time from launch

if camera does matter then go for Ray . Ray's camera is alot better than galaxy w and confirmed ICS update while galaxy w will probably stay at 2.3 . Both of them can do the rest of the stuff . Or you can get xperia pro or neo ( not v ) which beat galaxy W in all ways except cpu .

Arc Rm999 ap set

galaxy w and honor almost the same only honor will surely get ICS

Face unlock, open notifications from lockscreen, widgets in app drawer, switch apps by holding Home key, drag n drop folders, majorly refined settings menus, much better launcher, hardware acceleration

The ICS is not just fancy stuff , its the major improvement like from 1.6-2.3

And if the update stop now , the update will stop forever . The honor and xperias will probably receive 2 or 3 more updates .

You downgrade is for experience other brand UI ?

How bout xperia pro ? with secondary cam and 8mp Exmor R cam , qwerty keyboard, HDMI output free live view at this moment .

Other than that huawei honor , xperia play , optimus 3d , evo 3d will offer the experience you cant have on s2

Its worth trying

If can find nexus S , its not harm to try vanila android also .

only xperia neo suit ur budget . Rm 800 and below 3.7 bravia screen ICS update

can have a look at spice mi 400 also =/ although not really recomended

mini pro almost the price but get 2nd cam

will have face unlock function and live with walkman got bigger screen and dual speaker

bout 600 also

mini is below Rm500 tho if got extra budget recomend this 2

the only decent cam at that budget is xperia arc S

1k + all brand have average cam even they are 8mp .

Rm500-600 better get xperia mini / mini pro

same screen size with x8 and 1ghz processor

advantages xperia mini pro over galaxy y

better cam : 5mp ExmorR with flash + front cam VS 2mp no flash

better screen : 480 x 320 16million colour bravia engine VS 320 x 240 256k colour

better software : ICS soon VS 100% no official update

hardware : 1ghz armv7 Vs 826mhz armv6 ( bout 2.2 times less powerfull )

video playing / recording : up to 720p 30 fps Vs vga 15 fps


as above , galaxy y really don have any advantage over xperia mini pro

maybe price less abit . Can take xperia mini if budget tight .

See what package they include .
some shop give mw600 + live view and other accesories worth Rm600 then you can resale the mw600 and live view .

Then the price of phone is like Rm1100 only .

If they not include mw600 then its still a nice deal if you wan the live view .
