Yes, I'm aware of that too, i mean within that price range,is it a good buy? bang for buck? Coz the phone itself still a single core, but should be enough for me coz mainly gonna use it for calls, sms and browsing and some music only |

QUOTE(yoshiFPS @ May 7 2012, 01:54 PM) Hah? U mean go for an even better 1? Can go for Samsung galaxy S advance or Motorola atrix(not good for modding cuz its bootloader is locked). If still must be within 1k, best is definately to wait for Sony xperia U. Dual core below 1k(expected)! This post has been edited by danielcmugen: May 7 2012, 04:22 PM |

QUOTE(danielcmugen @ May 6 2012, 11:17 PM) For ori set, SE xperia pro and ray confirm below 1k. For AP then neo, arc and incredible S also below 1k. Arc and incredible S ori set also possible to be below 1k though a bit hard. Neo only got AP. thank you, but i've been using SE phone quite a long time. wanna change to other brand been checking out the IS. the camera/video quality didn't seem to impress me despite of its 8mp btw, forgive me for not knowing a lot of android stuff. What's ICS and Gingerbread actually? i mean, what do they do? i heard One V has the ICS updates while SGW doesn't have.. |

QUOTE(elm0001 @ May 7 2012, 09:04 PM) thank you, but i've been using SE phone quite a long time. wanna change to other brand Incrediable S decent and better than on V although its a year old phone .been checking out the IS. the camera/video quality didn't seem to impress me despite of its 8mp btw, forgive me for not knowing a lot of android stuff. What's ICS and Gingerbread actually? i mean, what do they do? i heard One V has the ICS updates while SGW doesn't have.. Probably because Rm2000 launch price quality . HTC camera is known for average quality . Even their one series which emphasize on camera sensor and dedicated image chip doesnt impressing . Incrediable S camera is quite ok for daily use . Best android camera at that price range will drop to Arc but you don want SE then cant do anything about it . This post has been edited by xerox8908: May 7 2012, 10:27 PM |

So, will IS be getting the ICS update? Cuz I checked the specs on gsmarena web, it says the OS of the phone is 'Android OS, v2.2, v2.3, upgradable to v4.x'. So it's Gingerbread or what?

Ice Cream Sandwich = ICS = v4.x (latest is v4.04) This post has been edited by Norameen: May 8 2012, 03:13 PM |
