i have one this, when my UMG shows rssi/signal strenght of -93dbm , the MF600 will shows -78dbm ( the lower the better )

hence this modem signal pulling factor is very GOOD and stable too ( on umts2100 only)

You wan lower figures, yes, there you go ?

this one is lower if you have AU$125

http://www.ebay.com.my/itm/New-unlock-Huaw...=item3a72410eb5

btw, a MF60 is a MiFi, how do u pair it with a Router? doh.gif

and remember a MiFi is only a temporary solution if you wan internet/wifi when you are OUTSIDE of your house or office cause most MiFi utilise a battery to power up a device, you can have WiFi BUT the speed will not be fast vause for highspeed, you need to have more power to suck all the available bandwidth , so i can conclude unless you use your MiFi on the Mains, else the speed is only so so je............

If you use the MiFi on Mains, the battery will konk out faster than you reliase, it happened to my sister's Huawei e5832 (the battery retired in less than 6 mths as she use the MiFi on mains) UNLESS its a Huddle which can be power up without the battery inserted icon_idea.gif ( i am using this too )

and for those Formula 1 Fans of USB modem here you go...................

Option 2, but buy a long enough Cat6E LAN cable , use it with a 3G router near your window or buy a USB3.0 cable ( for the usb modem)to extend the cable outside. wat modem are u using?

*
Where u see ppl selling e367 @ rm180?

btw, if you intends to use the modem with a 3G router, get one with the "bendable" usb , why? , simple, you can bend the modem towards the router and place the router"s back towards the wall....................

I used this tip given by Fruitie on my e367, and i managed to get signal of 100% on my mr3420 thumbup.gif

if your area's signal is UMTS2100 only, use E353, E367, if u are not careful , u will "kill" the usb connector

to me, E367 is sexier brows.gif

do you knw what is the different icon 505 and icon 505m? what chipset they use?
icon 505m can receive a better signal?
e353 more better than this?

hope u answer me:) thanksss
*
i now have 2#icon505M, those are Made in Ireland modems.

M= memory card slot and mr3420 support this modem too, i suggest to use this modem on a router cause this blardy modem utilise too much ac power from the pc's mobo, hence your other usb ports cacat-ed by this icon doh.gif

connect it to a mr3420 that have external ac and use wifi+cat6e cable, superb signal wei............... rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

after a further look on the e367, only e367-u2 are available in malaysia making them the only 28.8mbps modem to support 900 and 2100 band i think

which means i can still use my umg 1831 >< no nid to upgrade 1st lol
*
i currently own one e367, this sexy modem ( why sexy, its glossy on its surface like my wife's glass silk stockings on tight skirt tongue.gif ) , compared to UMG, old skol chipset, this Qualcomm 8200 chipset is like a BMW on an Autobahn..and a Saga on Kampong road...........
