Added on April 5, 2012, 12:44 pmIf I wts my MF 60 and buy HAME MPR-A1, does this good? hehe
imagine this
MF60 run on battery, and the signal and speed is not up to expectation and it is running on a Bigger Capacity/Size battery than the Hame , wat will happen to your connection when you use a Power Hungry USB modem with a Router that only utilise a battery which is smaller in size and capacity.
Pls take note that my Icon , infact all HSPA+ modem that is 14.4Mbps and above are Power Hungry
When you pair these modems with a Router that run on AC, meaning the main power supply , it sure can run at topspeed cause the main is supplying the power to the USB MODEM ( ask Chuah on Power Supply and USB Modem, he damn sifu and discovered this with his experiments) . But if you pair a battery operated router with a High Speed USB modem
Why i said so, i own 2 Huawei MiFI ( one from Maxis and one from Umobile ) and a DLink Dir457, and all performed like shite when battery is low......and this explains why i aquired a YES Huddle recently as YES Huddle is different as its battery is a Very Good Quality 2700 MAh Lithium Polymner battery (made in Korea, not China , no pun intended ) to power my devices when i am on the go. I ady explained this Huddle can run on AC without the battery inserted when i am at home/workplace, thus "save" my battery for to use when i am on the go......
MiFi for short usage is good but not for extended use, unless like Huawei where u can plug in the mains and use , but then again, it will kill the battery

cause it cant be powerup if the battery is not present , unlike Huddle
