that hairline crack still havent solved ?thatss before xperia arc s released.lucky its not big deal

and that heat problem is normal for every phone
even using iphone play games also hot .

i think in future, this phone wont be sell anymore like x10(not x10mini) or maybe the last price will be 800+ . not lower than that .

btw guys the price for xperia arc s ap set have went up like rocket .

last week was rm1120(white) now its 1210 ..
ruin my plan to trade play with arc (do u think its worth it?)

a seller has advice me not to buy phone during festive season bcause the price is higher than normal day

My only concern is time and price ... wait until March/April is such a long wait!! I wanted to buy Arc S before CES, then I told myself to wait until the CES show. Now ... argh, I have to wait even longer ...

How to buy phones when new phones keep coming out ?? sad.gif
*
new phone keep coming out every month...
it can't stop.
if u a gadget freek, i'm sure u will buy a phone then let go to buy newer phone and so on...
but for me a normal user, i juz buy a phone that suit my taste..
after a few year then i will let go my phone to catch latest phone at that time

Hi guys, i was wondering do u guys try to play any hd movie on this phone? I mean like 720p video.. Wat format do u use? Is it lagging? Cos i try to watch spartacus on my phone , a mkv format, im using mx video player, but it is lagging n the voice also not sync wit the lips.. Also in mx video, there r hw mode sw mode n swfast mode.. Anyone care to explain wat this mode does?malso i heard if i set on sw or swfast mode, the bravia engine wont do anything like improvin/enhances the video quality n color..is it true.?

Just informative sharing on how to update from 2.3.3 to 2.3.4 then root with the new zergRush method.

I know, don't flame me, to some of you this may be old news and you all are very advance with flashing custom ROMs etc, but I'm only sharing this to the newbies.

Ok will consider that. But I think it is NOT really necessary for newbie to install adb/fastboot - in fact, this is only useful for those that want to flash Custom ROM - which also means that they will VOID their warranty because it requires one to unlock Bootloader. (yes I know can relock back too) but still - I think rooting is more commonly asked - mainly bcos people want to Freeze stock apps - since our Arc have so little memory - every little squeeze helps...

That's just me thinking.

Yeah, same here. But the newest phone always suits my taste. That's why I'm always tempted to get a new phone. I wanted to get arc S before this, but now I feel like getting Xperia S. If I wait until March/April, they might be other new phones that suit my taste, then I have to wait a few months more for their release. If this keep going on, I forever no need to change phone ... sad.gif

argh ...

I bought 1 yesterday at digital mall for 1380. All the shops quoted around 1380 to 1400.

Finally change from Samsung Galaxy S after more than a year. The first thing I noticed is everything is snappier especially apps like Facebook. My old phone Facebook apps takes ages too load and frequently crashes.

I love the bravia engine display. Much more livelier compared to my old phone which is having a good display too.

Didn't wait for Xperia S?
Arc S was around RM 2k in August and now is January, only like 5 months and the price now is RM 1380.
Then if Xperia S, have to wait until March+5 months = July to have the price of Xperia S at RM 1400 ...

No point waiting. Theres always a better and newer models launch every month. I love the design of Arc and the price is now super reasonable. The only drwabacks are not having a front camera (which I never use) and not dual core (can u really see any did between dual core and single core)
