For me my arc is the best phone i had, most stunning design n sexy, it is quite fast..

My only wishes r if only this phone a dual core, larger internal memory, more ram, thus it wil b a perfect phone..regarding the exterior, i wish it hav more solid material so it looks expensive like its price..

so sorry to hear that.

the most common ways to drop your phone (that ive heard of)

1. getting out of a car and u forgot that you put ur phone on ur lap.
2. getting out of the car, it just falls out from your side pocket
3. falls out from a pouch
4. texting while walking..
*
Its no 1..damm... I always very becareful be4 i exit the car, makesure my phone isnt on my lap, hav many years of experience wit this scenario, however last nite somehow it just happen... It is fate i think.. doh.gif sad.gif

QUOTE(rayzrblade @ Jan 8 2012, 01:26 PM)
argh.. my arc s so lag.
whenever i pressed home button, the 5 widgets pops up 2 by 2.
i even move some widget to other screen so that i wont see it pop up slowly. haha.
or whenever i unlock, i need to wait ...1...2...3...4..5... seconds only start swiping if not i will get pissed if it hangs a little. haha  .

the flashing arconium looks promising. but i guess i just wait for ICS to come, if ICS still sucks on arc s..then time to flash.

but by right my arc should be fast what..
im using

rooted.
GO launcher. 4 screens. 9 widgets in total.
no folders on desktop.
set cpu min 806
autokiller 60 70 80
phone memory available 166mb
Free RAM approx 9xMB

whats wrong?
*
Weird, im using go launcher too, bout 7 widgets, few folders in honescreen, phone memory bout 104mb,i dun set any min cpu, not facing the lag u mention, n mine is arc not arc s.. there only a split sec lag wheneva i enable data or wifi, but it only lyk a sec.. the only issue i hv wit this phone so far is the battery life, only up to max 15 hrs fullcharge, plenty of browsing wif 3g..

not much power can save..
juz lil bit improvement from previous FW..
b4 i upgrade, my total internal space is 320mb but after i flash, magically the internal space is 420mb..  blink.gif
*
really?actually iinm arc has bout 1gb internal, except useable only 320mb, myb SE giv us that extra 100mb.. howeva i'll wait for a proper way to root .62 first b4 i flash it... currently i read in xda forum, cant root wit flashtool yet. really lazy to flash as need to reinstall everything. wana make sure it worth the hassle..seing extra 100mb, kinda temptin, but i gues i wait for awhile..

my battery life really bothering me, im not sure im a heavy user or not, i rarely play game in this phone, mostly i read manga a lot, browsing a lot, listen music sometime, watch video sometime, bravia engine on, bout 40% brightness, last bout 11hrs-15hrs.. hmm.gif my active widgets are : battery widget, 3g watchdog pro, juice def ultimate, switch pro, clockq, flashlight (passive), n favorites n cal log. hmm.gif

I'm not kidding. For that 5 days I sent around 5-10smses , voice call 15-20mins daily & sometimes on bluetooth device while driving. I never expected to last this long because everyone complaining 1-2 days max. I checked my battery status and the highest percentage usage is cell phone and not the display. I didn't use wifi and screen brightness at 30% only. If you keep on playing around with your phone sure cannot hold that long. You can try to minimize the display usage and I think you can get 5 days too.

If using wifi and other multimedia task only can hold 1-2 days only, same like you all.
*
doh.gif if like this kind of usage, i better stick wit my samsung torchlight phone, very cheap, n the battery can last like 1 week, biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

WEnt to Lowyat today and had a heck of a hard time finding much choices in terms of leather flip style cases for the Arc for my missus. Anyone know of any other particular places I can look?

She wants a coloured/designed case rather than the plain coloured ones and she wants a flip style case coz she's scared of damaging the screen.
*
Try search n buy online bro, alot more choices.. or search online, take a pic of ur missus preferred case, show to d shop, they might able to order it for u.. to go shop by shop randomly is pure luck if u able to get wat u wan.

hi friends.  please add me on the users list as well.  got my LT15i and preserved it physically as same state when bought last Sept 2011. smile.gif

my unit is running on 4.0.A.2.368 on doomkernel version 10, i like the average battery drain of 1% in 2 hours of bare use so I do not update, and possibly just wait for ICS.
*
wow impressive, mine drop like 11% or more in 2 hehehe doh.gif sweat.gif tongue.gif

yeah exactly..
sony has buy all share in sony ericsson
*
or mybe Sony will recreate arc by making it dual core, addin fron camera, a large internal memory n better material for the body. n then put the Sony brand on it. the name can be sony xperia arc duo tongue.gif if this happen i surely buy one, i just love arc design so muc, but hate a bit about the quality of the material they used, look a bit cheap wit the plastic, has a hairline crack issue n that chrome peels off.. sweat.gif sad.gif doh.gif

p/s there is rumors such phone it mention above, codename nypon.
