QUOTE(razorboy @ Mar 11 2012, 08:11 PM) So you'd compete naked Lol. This is not it. It's just the beginning phase. Wait a few more weeks. It'll be better. For example. |

Trained with kaperskyfan and pedro today. This is after not deadlifting after a year so i'm going kinda light and conservative.
Warm up deadlift 425lbs Work set deadlift 435lbs (I was having a convo with pedro at the top of the lift =P ) I'm 154lbs BW. So far this is 435lbs deadlift. A 3x BW ratio to deadlift will be easily achievable but it'll take some time. =P I'm being very careful with my poundages. BW dips +135lbs This post has been edited by darklight79: Mar 17 2012, 08:02 PM |

QUOTE(mikehuan @ Mar 18 2012, 11:10 PM) Zzzzz.....QUOTE(strinq @ Mar 19 2012, 08:48 AM) Err, but I thought he said he doesn't compete? I'm 5' 8.5". I dunno about cm. Mike is pulling your leg. A lot of people have asked me to but I will never compete.Still, 70kg is really low. I thought with all that muscle mass he should be heavier. Hmmm... |

QUOTE(mikehuan @ Mar 20 2012, 01:21 AM) kay, i know im not gonna sleep if i dont do this lol From a POV of a person who is already quite experienced at observing physiques, you HAVE gotten leaner without a doubt. But it seems you're holding quite a bit of water and you may need to adjust your macros and sodium intake a lot more. Mist be the chap fan. =P [attachmentid=2746415] and from my journal: deadlifts: 100kg x 7 without straps 10/08/2011 170kg x 2 with straps 22/01/2012 bench press: 80kg x 5 30/05/2011 (with spotter) 80kg x 5 20/08/2011 without spotter 100kg x 2 09/02/2012 wont include squats since i didnt have the chance to do squats when i moved into my new gym due to lack of a squat rack =/ Come meet up sometime this week, I'll be giving you a consultation session over shisha. =) |

QUOTE(mikehuan @ Mar 23 2012, 09:26 AM) Funny how all he got from the pic was the size of your forearms.. B!tch. Lol. Power day this Saturday. In? After that the so called "gathering" if it's happening.I concur, forearms not developed at all, girly look. I kid of course, for his bodytype its was more developed than the average person. Or bodybuilder, to say the least. This post has been edited by darklight79: Mar 23 2012, 09:48 AM |

QUOTE(Galant @ Mar 22 2012, 05:48 PM) Hi guys. I've been reading the forums and decided to begin some workouts. I was hoping you guys can help me out on something. Looks ok.I did some deadlifting (6 times of 5 reps x 40kg, around 2 mins rests in between) and was having some sores on my lower back. Before this there was no problem when i was doing it with 20kg. So I think perhaps there's something wrong with my form. I've gone through the stickies, mark rippetoe videos etc but there might be mistakes that I didn't notice with my form. Do you guys mind correcting me? Below is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c63PfDlgYfQ I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but since i saw DL posting his deadlifting video, so I might as well. Thank you in advance! |
