Well, not really.Last time, i used a 12cm Delta fan and the sound just made me crazy. So i decided to do a switching whereby my rear 12cm Thermaltake Smart LED fan is taken to the front while my Delta went to the back. The result is similar.Same amount of noise generated..
My 8cm fan at the HDD bay is still the original CM fan but i was planning to switch over to the Silverstone and take off that noisy 12cm fan.Thats why i am wondering would the air intake be enough on a single 8cm fan even if its a Silverstone and would the noise be bearable?
1 last thing, if i am using a fan controller, where should i put it?cause i have a TT fan controller but its optimize for rear usage (uses a PCI back metal slot).I cant switch it to the front...
The Silverstone 80mm fan also use 3 1/2 inch fan controller right, which can be place in the floppy drive bay there...unless you already mount your floppy bay with floppy drive... the CM fan is too low in cfm...even my C532 with 120mm CM fan got too little intake, make my hdd stay in high temp at around 35C (lowest) to 41C (currently highest)...
