Hi guys. Recently got a Centurion 5.

This might sound a bit noobish, but I was wondering whether the fan (there's only one fan on my casing, 12mm at the back) should be intake or out-take.

It's logical that intake = cold air blowing in. But the casing is such that there's no fan blowing out the hot air (hence the mesh like front panel I assume).

But would it make sense to use the back fan as an out-take? Fan blowing air out, and cold air being sucked in through the mesh front panel.

Which is better? Has this been discussed before?

Do let me know smile.gif

Not really sure about that.

I bought the casing, and the computer guy fit the fan in for me. So happens he put it so that it became an intake fan from the back of the casing.

Maybe he fitted it wrongly? If so then really... sweat.gif

But I think it'll work either way. Just which one is more effective in cooling the inside of the case rclxub.gif

Of course having a directional airflow is the best which mean there is intake and exhaust.... the front would be intake which is 8cm in ur case and 12cm as exhaust ....

i think he did put it the wrong way.. becoz u're heatsink blows out the heat ma near to ur back of ur casing, sure la put a fan to blow the hot air out. If blow in then the air will be disturbed
