today i went test drive myvi 1.3, persona, flx se.. i already wrote my impression in persona thread, doesnt feel like writing one here haha.. conclusion is my money is on either persona or myvi 1.5se. The showrooom no 1.5se test drive unit, so i wanna ask, is the ride more hard and bumpy? Cos at uneven and bumpy road, myvi 1.3 is like abit uncomfortable compared to persona.. persona is the best in comfort and noise among these three. it feels like persona going on those lousy road, not much noise from the tyre, or the road noise, but myvi will have the road noise.. this problem can reduce one by changing suspension? i think lower suspension will make the ride even stiffer right?

btw, myvi got promotion currently?

another question, anyone drive their myvi 1.5 for long distance? like 200-400km drive, do you feel tired and uncomfortable? how about if after modding this tat, does it improve this kind of problem??

Bro, u r rite, if comfort, myvi can never rival persona, because persona's rear suspension is more complex than myvi's very simple (and cheap for manufacturer to produce) torsion beam... Actually, myvi can never rival the comfort level provided by the persona because the persona is not the myvi's direct rival.. But, with Saga u can compare myvi with. Same rear torsion setup...

If u change lower spring, yes, it will be stiffer n bumpier ride, but better stability... I almost every weekend do 500-600km 1 whole day drive, maybe its only me, but its never to the extend of tiring for me.. or maybe because im not custom to other more plusher/comfortable ride, so its just fine for me... rclxub.gif rclxub.gif
But, as per ur ques, if mod this n that, yesh can make it more comfortable, but u can never expect it to out-comfort the car that already equipped with far more complex suspension setup... shakehead.gif

If you are looking for effective brake pads that bites, try EBC. Refer Here
Go for either the Black stuff or the Green stuff. Do take note that Green stuff produces more brake dust compared to Black stuff. biggrin.gif

No bro, ul still just pay 51k for manual SE(in my case), interest also at what uve been offered for SE..(2.8 for me)... They do this because they calculate 58k minus 10%(dp for extreme model), 58-6=52k... 52k u can get SE 100% loan, because SE only 51k.. U get me Bro..?? But, yes, what ever amount higher, for sure interest also higher.. For eg, loan 50k interest at 3% u pay less interest than loan 100k interest at 3%...

kk i know what u mean.. they makes it look like u loan a myvi extreme, but actually is they give u SE la.. BUt how about documentation? isnt it abit illegal to do so? Cos if the document is myvi extreme, but they give u SE car.. it is like the extreme car is non existence lol.. Dunno la.. maybe they know how to do lol.. Btw, is it with guarantor then don need pay slip right? If my dad is still working, then he become my guarantor? Then what u need to pay 1st time if wan to get the car?

1. Normally almost all user manual will state 60,000km interval to change MT fluid. But most people (including myself) will recommend change every 30,000km to increase the gearbox lifespan. You don't like to be submerged in a pile of mud for too long, so does your manual gearbox.

2. clutch only needed to be changed when it starts to wear out. No specific interval unless you want to upgrade to better clutch.

Hello guys, I'm thinking of buying a new Myvi to replace my reliable Kelisa 850 manual transmission. My main concern is fuel consumption. My current Kelisa can give me 19km/l not matter what kind of driving style/city driving/highway. May I know which Myvi variant can get FC CLOSE to 19km/L?
1.3 or 1.5 variant? (I'm planning to get 1.5 SE manual but depends if 1.3 have a better fc. btw, if auto/manual does not give much difference of fc, i would like to get auto)

City driving auto and manual have muc diff in FC... But if u always highway, better just go with auto cuz on a cruise engine speed, auto didnt loose much in terms of FC to manual... Start go start go traffic then auto trails the manual by a fair margin..
