You have no choice but to train to write faster or think fast . Read more . Once you're in Form Four you'll be writing mostly karangan fakta , so better be prepared . Surat hasn't been in BM SPM Paper 1 for more than 10 years already , so it is very unlikely that you'll get to write it .

For Paper 1 , there's nothing you can do but to know all the hukum-hukum tatabahasa . Improve on your tatabahasa , the most important thing . Also , you should know the words used in "istana" like bersantap , bersiram , gering , etc . Peribahasa is important too . Good luck . Don't worry too much , many of my friends who got B and C's for their BM exams got A's for their BM PMR paper .

Writing fakta is your safest bet - most teachers recommend it .

Haha . No , algebra is strictly algebra and geometry is geometry . You'll have to know the difference between the two in Form Four . Anyway , 5 more months to PMR . *evillaugh*

Trust me , it'll seem like there's a long time to go , but to be frank , 134 days aren't that much . Cuti here , cuti there , Saturday , Sundays .... And when you're left with just a few weeks before the actual exam , you'll feel the pressure .

BUT ,

If you start now and finish your preparations early , it'll be a breeze for you . So good luck .

No . Not the hard part if you study consistently . At first you'll have difficulty in adapting with the new formats and all, but after that everything will come into place . smile.gif

To be honest , I didn't read the Jahitan bab at all . During the exam , only 2 questions came out and I tikam-ed both , and got 1 correct . As for the machine one , I'm not very sure as I took PK .

Well there's 2 person, their average age will be around 15. This is used to find how old is Daud and Fadil.

Just add back 8 to get back 23 for Fadil's Age. <--- 5 years ago

Add those 2 up and you get back the sum in the question
15 (Daud) + 23 (Fadil)
= 38

Just add 5 years into both people the final age was found.

Look at your sister's friend. Got 7A and 1B she can't get a trophy for it.

Anyway , for Sejarah , what you know doesn't matter in PMR . Follow the textbook even if it's wrong , that's the hard truth . But it's good to know about when it happened , etc . Personally I didn't look at any of the dates for Sejarah . No dates . There won't be a single question about dates . That's the good thing . Just concentrate on important events and its implications .

I sat for Sejarah PMR last year . Was it easy ? In my opinion it was , 'cause I really read through all of the chapters from Form 1-3 in and out and did many questions . But the first question shocked us , it was a nilai question . Normally it'll be question regarding kaedah pengkajian sejarah / sumber sejarah . And for the first time , a question on Murut came out , 'cause normally it'll be either Kadazandusun or Penan . So , expect the unexpected and be ready .

National anthem and opinion questions were in SEJARAH SPM , not PMR . What makes you think that you can give your own opinion ? Questions for PMR are all objective .

So , some are done with their syllabus . My advice : Start spamming on model papers / trial papers / past year papers . No use studying your reference books , it's time to be used to the real thing . Good luck !

Kamus Dewan is not reliable for a student's purposes as it contains many foreign words and slang words , some of which are not suitable to be used for proper usage . Kamus Pelajar by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka is better as you're still a student . A bigger mistake of yours was to check using Wikipedia . Everyone who has studied at least elementary trigonometry will know SOH CAH TOA . It's not unique . In fact , you will still need it to recall the trigonometric functions in university .

Incredibly unreliable . Most of his tips were inaccurate . Those which came out were predicted by state excellent teachers , and not him .

By the way - it's disappointing to see you juniors discussing about leaked questions for the trials . Not in the spirit of PMR . Trials are supposed to gauge how well you'll fare for the actual exam . Do it on your own . Yes , you might score average grades but you'll learn from those mistakes . No use scoring high marks but bomb during the actual PMR . Just my piece of advice .
