QUOTE(iSean @ Oct 7 2012, 08:24 PM) Ok thanks. Ka rtrij is the correct spelling my friend told me Sometimes you can just know if it's wrong or not by hearing how it sounds . Melangkahkan longkang is clearly out . It should be melangkah longkang . Melangkahi means 'going overboard ' or 'melampaui batas' . You're right . Kartrij with an R . Thanks !

QUOTE(iSean @ Oct 7 2012, 08:40 PM) MaximR :S I'm confuse. melangkahkan 1. menggerakkan (kaki) ke depan utk berjalan. 2. memulakan sesuatu perjalanan (pelayaran dsb) dgn upacara. Kamus Pelajar Melangkahkan kaki ke hadapan is correct . The penyambut is the direct object , kaki . You cannot melangkahkan longkang .

Not wanting to be an annoying senior who likes to nag or anything , but here's a reminder to all of you :
I noticed that today , many of the PMR candidates complained that the Paper 2 question for KOMSAS wasn't what they expected , they read form one and three novels but form 2 one came out , it wasn't as expected , etc but this shouldn't come from you guys . Especially since you're the first batch of students with the new literature components . It's foolish to think that only the ones that are spotted will come out . During my time , last year , the Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia confirmed that only form 3 novels will be questioned because we were the last batch of the old literature components ( with boring novels , to be honest ) . But I felt it was too good to be true and prepared for all three instead . When the exams came , only form 3 novels came out all right , but I felt that I was ready for all three and there was a feeling of assurance .
Moral of the story : Be ready for anything and everything , don't focus on topics . Not at this stage . You can look through the tips , that's fine but please don't go overboard by treating them as your official study materials for your PMR . I'm saying this not to make you guys feel bad but to warn you and wake you up , since you will be in form four next year . Don't let this be a habit . You know what to do next year .
That being said, I'm not that sure about the current format of English but back in our days we could focus on only one novel . If that's the case for you , then fine . If it isn't , then I'd suggest reading the synopsis of all of the novels you've studied to refresh your memory .
Good luck guys for tomorrow's paper .

Yup , I knew about the change in answer requirement for inference only a few months before PMR and my teacher didn't event tell us about it which made me furious . But everything was sorted out in the end .
I'm curious : GEO 2012 , no repeated questions at all ? It's hard to believe . The syllabus is pretty much confined , were there new questions this year ? Example ?

QUOTE(Sridev Pro Designer @ Oct 10 2012, 09:33 PM) Quite a number of questions were new. Past year papers didn't really help that much. I guess I should have done the model test papers as the questions are quite challenging and tricky just like our 2012 paper Examples , please ? A screenshot would do I guess . Or you could type them out . Safer that way . I'm just curious . 'Cause in the past 10 years , the questions were pretty much the same . I took a look at the Science Paper 1 , the questions were pretty much the same , quite easy .
