eh to, for the Sygic.
my case is :
I was put aura file in internal and ext_sd.
then I on sygic, then it still need dl maps, I felt weird and i close it.
then I delete the aura in internal as I thought it still need redownload the 400++mb file.
then I click sygic and let it dl. then mana tau it just dl around 20mb file (around 1-2min), it started.
so I test it for 1-2min, off it, open internal but no aura file.
then only rmb I got put a backup aura file in ext_sd.
so it use the aura file in ext_sd.
should be ok. well. at least I can see 2 people reply they success.
other detail I not sure.

mine is sygic 11.2.1 "paid" version ~
good luck ~

hey guys,
I wanted to ask if your galaxy W has the feature to change brightness at the display settings?

I search a bit and found out that the brightness can be changed from the notification trick but I'm curious on why some features are missing at the display feature when I test the phone at Samsung outlet?

Can you guys confirmed that all this features are available in your phone?
The one that I tested only shows Wallpaper, Touch Key Light Duration and Horizontal Calibration but Galaxy Note, Ace, S 2 has all these features listed below. Please help me to confirmed smile.gif

Dear SGW sifu, I tested it at the shop and was quite impress with the fast response, camera and interestingly is within my budget for a sub 1k phone. So far any problem I should know? Hang issue? Weak gps? Battery can last one day if normal use? Any lag playing 1080p HD video directly?

Bought a white color SGW for my wife as Christmas present, quite impress with the performance so far. Never encounter any "Hang" issue so far as I often quit all the apps and tasks, I believe those who encounter the lag and hang issue is normmally cause by too many multitasking Apps runnning at the background since Android are real multitasking. Therefore always keeping the phone running with less task and apps will have less issues since the phone only have less than 400 ram(I assumed), never tried 1080p movies before. Camera are acceptable with decent pictures which good enough to view the much details on my iPad's Facebook app. For normal usage the phone can actually last for 2 days without much network connections such as Wifi, 3G and Bluetooth. Overall it's a recommended device with an affordable price tag, an Adroid Gingerbread 2.3.5 and a nice spec so far in the market.

new sgw user here..
just signed 2 yrs package with digi smart plan,
got the phone @ rm399

what i dun get is why is it so difficult to manage apps in android?
it seems by default i can only install apps to internal memory then have option which says "Move to SD" which actually move to usb storage which is REALLY misleading,
and I do not have ANY option to move to my REAL SD card.....

and i thought google would have made better user interface....

but from stability and speed performance wise....i'm definitely impressed compared to my previous omnia II which runs on winMo 6.5

haha that was really buggy but UI and feature wise I still liked omnia II's.....it's much more user friendly.....(never though I would ever say such a thing about microsoft products but it's just the truth)

I can move apps and files just like in my PC, and i can plug to PC without needing to install anything because it can act as a usb storage itself....

but i really liked this hotspot thetering feature in android...it opened up a whole new possibilty for me....especially now with my unlimited digi 3g hehehe smile.gif

Response wise, customROM > Ori
Camera, can't complain much.
Hang, yes, typical Android running on stock ROM
GPS issues sad.gif
Battery can tahan at least 1 day on 3G
1080p mp4 and avi is is smooth, able to get 30 fps, mkv and mpg is very laggy when fast forwarding
