coral chip will raise ur GH too.. bcareful

Wah.. so cheap RM8~4 I heard some say they worth more than RM10/each (buying from LFS).... think those might be super grade..... (still don't know how to differentiate the grade...)

hi everyone,

need to ask sumthing.

my tank average temperature is between 29-31 C and i really like to own a few RCS as a CUC for my tank.
how do i lower my tank temperature for the shrimps to thrive happily?

what is the temperature do they require to live happily?

cant afford yet a chiller, so maybe a DIY cooler fan will do? usually how much can it lower the tank temperature? should i use more than one fan?
any DIY user who had successfully made themselves their own cooler fan, plz help me.

one more think, i already put a RCS inside my tank as a test subject for a few days, so far so good..
playing happily but i think i need to do sumthing about the temperature first before putting a few more into it.
is the RCS ok or he is just abnormal since he can withstand the heat?
do i need to try to learn to take care of feeder/ghost shrimps first (since they are cheap) before trying to take care of RCS?

diy fan will do, 1 or 2 maybe, too many fans will evaporate your water too fast

how long ur tank cycle ? better let it mature first before putting more shrimp and dun overcrowd ur tank

ghost shrimp are too easy and i personally saw they grab and ate one RCS, ghost shrimp are cleaners, they eat everything, so bcareful

Hey, please becareful if u want to purchase shrimp at pet shop at midvalley.. There are full of planaria in the tank.. N the stuff dont have any knowledge to keep the shrimp..

I told the stuff But he said normally it stay in the soil... And will not effect the shrimp... Sigh... Very speechless la... He wants to act pro then i let he be loh. Then i saw one blue shrimp swim until tenggelam onto the soil and planaria eat the shrimp!! When the shrimp fall on the soil.. More planaria eat it..

Sigh.. I see until i feel like crying like that.. There are new red cherry.. New from the supplier n they r still pack in plastic bag.. Sigh... Got few dead shrimp also...

Just to share with u... I feel really heartbroken when i saw the blue shrimp Being attack by the planaria...

After i see the incident.. I just wanna save those fire red in the tank... Then i grab 7... Haha

Remember to check whether ur plastic bag have any planaria or not before u put them into ur lovely tank ya...

pet store staff, they only care bout salary at the end of month.. hahaa..

Ya.. Got 2 dead shrimp with full of planaria.. Sigh... Maybe the shop use this kind of tactic to increase sales? At first i don't plan to buy one.. I see until really wanna cry... Then only decide to take all of the fire red out.. Kakakakaka....
