it wont since your substrate is 5cm thick, you only vacuum the first 2-3cm so it won't goto the bottom where the 5 elements is.

this only tank 45 litres , try ask bro. melodyworm, he can custom made tank but not with super clear glass.
if you want super clear glass, mr.yee shop NA at.ss19 can order but prepare $$$.

i just got my first 5 shrimp and they change "shirt" often :D

That call Molting , they molt to grow or to adjust to different water condition/parameter.
Don't take it out as they will eat it.

It depend how many you can handle, 2 feet easily fit >300++ shrimps. Adult , juvenile and shrimplets.

when they settle down.

Reduce Ammonia? you sure it is ammonia not nitrate ? if so then you have serious problem, ammonia should never be detected after tank is cycled.
If you do, your Beneficial bacteria may have died off or not adequate.

dun worry, crs/cbs not that hard if you willing to get a chiller, my baby crs/cbs will be ready if you do.
