QUOTE(sfcc80 @ Dec 21 2011, 11:39 PM) Restart issues are usually due to cracked/pirated apps from dubious sources. If you did not install such, than do a factory reset and monitor. If it happens again, than go and have motherboard changeAnother probable cause is defective external micro SD card This post has been edited by benny888: Dec 22 2011, 12:00 AM |

QUOTE(llk @ Dec 22 2011, 12:08 AM) Guys not to scare you but it will only get worst! Look for my earlier post on this prob. It is motherboard problem. Send to svc center asap for checking!! At first they insist its software problem, upgraded, handover to me and I tested right in front of them and it happened again.immediately they changed my motherboard within 1hour! |

If your rom is in zip format ( after extract you see folders Meta-Inf, System, zimage etc ) - you can use CWM recoveryHowever is recommended you use ODIN in PC to flash it - most of the stock roms I have downloaded after extract is in tar format - select this as PDA in Odin. Leave others as default |

QUOTE(kkkw80 @ Dec 22 2011, 12:22 AM) No need to worry. The service center always close an eye to rooted and flash units - I have experienced 3 times sending in units rooted/flash. Twice to Spore ( for AP set bought in KL) - also rooted flashed. They still process warranty FOCLook up at SGS II and Galaxy tab threads , many users has good experience claiming warranty with rooted and flashed phones. No matter how you tried to hide even flashing back stock roms, if the service center wants to void your warranty they can still trace from hidden files your flashing record |

QUOTE(llk @ Dec 22 2011, 12:27 AM) They will always take the easy way out which to claim its software problem. Depends on how you relate to them and insist on it. I myself was so worried bout this as mine happened less than 3 hours I got the phone and I waited 1 week assessing it before I couldn't stand it!Good luck! |
