for those that have rooted + CWM their phone, am i doing this right?

My phone now on stock:
Android Version - 2.3.5
Baseband version - N7000DXKJ3
Kernel Version - 2.6.35.7-N7000DXKJ6-CL673389 root@Dell125#2



1. Download InitialCFRootFlasher.zip
2. Extract InitialCFRootFlasher

3 Download CF-Root-SGN_ZS_MUL_KJ6-v5.0-CWM5.zip
4. Extract CF-Root-SGN_ZS_MUL_KJ6-v5.0-CWM5
5. Extract CF-Root-SGN_ZS_MUL_KJ6-v5.0-CWM5.zip again

6. Copy zImage (8,192kb) to zImage folder (do i need to remove the !! Place zImage here !! file - 0kb ??)
7. Connect phone to pc
8. Run not-rooted-yet.bat


**I didnt install kies yet to my pc..do i need to install it first?

update - succesfully root my note and also got the CWM without any prob yesterday..now downloading rocket rom & AbyssNote v2.3..but the rom size is like shocking.gif ..

one thing need to confirm > do i need to flash rocket rom first or the kernel?

need help guys, can anyone try to set this picture as your lockscreen wallpaper..i get tones of lines (like screen problem) instead of "real/full black"....but if i set as wallpaper, everything is ok, no lines or problem (black is black)...

*in my screen test > black is black, normal wallpaper black is black, but problem when set to locksreen wallpaper rclxub.gif

yup..at lockscreen and gallery for black colour..and also banding issue(if im not mistaken) u can see in your calculator app...hhmm wonder if can get exchange from SME?

Could be hardware display issue
you got 2 note from ap and SME right? both also ok?

if capture the lockscreen wallpaper & calculator with in-built screen shot, it will appear normal..but from live viewing,you can obviously spot the prob..

alredi test the wallpaper to my SGS lockscreen & wallpaper, no problem..

with your SGN, try to apply the stock wallpaper (book with feather) to your lockscreen, u can see the feather look fake because of the black colour issue..

my baseband remain N7000DXKJ3 but my kernel change from N7000DXKJ6-CL673389 root@Dell125#2 to> DXKK1-CL706642 root@DELL 139#2..still consider stock and not rooted right?

anyone using the nillkin rough case / metallic hard case from tskhor in garage can give a short review? will it scratch the silver bezel around the phone while applying it?
