Hi Guys,

I installed Kies and found an update. Connected USB to SGN. Kies downloaded the update and was going to update the SGN but unable to do so because it said battery low and needs charging. My battery is at 35% and plug to the USB through the computer. Isn't that charging?

Did you guys encounter this problem?

Tis come out when i open mobile odin...

It's not a problem. It how kies works. You need to have at least have more then 50% battery left to do the upgrade.

I also had this problem.
Seems like have to restart router to fix. Or maybe it was restart phone, can't recall
I had this problem for at least 3 or 4 times.

Anyhow, remember to disable wifi when you "walk away" from the source seems to solve the problem.
Same case with mobile data, have to remember to turn it off, otherwise, wifi also get "jammed" when trying to get IP address.
Weird. But recently I don't recall having this issue.
Could be due to firmware/kernel upgrades fixing the issue.
Not sure.

seems like there is a new official firmware update for Note? will it break Root? thanks.

use rom manager n flash recovery. it is limited in function but can be used to flash kernel only with cwm app
select sgs2 as phone
delete the app n clear its data after you have instll back cwm recovery

haha, u really expert...

everything done... kl3 2.3.6 with root n cwm works...

the mobile odin can in, then flash the zImage files from Abby 2.6...
now all works...

i manage to update it thru kies..(malaysian base)....it take me 1hr...darn slow...wunder y internet throttling..

I think someone have to replace TS position for V6 already since he is going to sell off his phone i think ...

i just installed "mybackup" and do a backup before i try to attempt to update rom.

i find that when i back up the apps, there are a lot of APK files in this folder.
phone:\external_sd\rerware\MyBackup\AllAppsBackups\AppsMedia_2012_01_04\Apps

APK is like installer file to android phone similar to exe files to windows right?

if i copy and paste the APK to other friend's phone and install, can install or not?

yes.. but i din buy cos i need to replace battery ..so not so convenient for me.. MFIT case also look nice.. but the price more expensive
