tried updating via KIES since morning till now...very slow to download the firmware...will let KIES auto download it first....wonder when OTA will appear...

i just installed "mybackup" and do a backup before i try to attempt to update rom.

i find that when i back up the apps, there are a lot of APK files in this folder.
phone:\external_sd\rerware\MyBackup\AllAppsBackups\AppsMedia_2012_01_04\Apps

APK is like installer file to android phone similar to exe files to windows right?

if i copy and paste the APK to other friend's phone and install, can install or not?

I took it down after 2 days , back to rocket V12
Most obvious is the slow detection of phone signals after a reboot ; sometimes takes up to 3-5 secs
I change the modem to KJ6 - still same
Other than this, no other majorm issues - equally good as Rocket and darky rom

So Benny, you are back to V12 is it? Any issue with sticking with V13?

Seems like have to restart router to fix. Or maybe it was restart phone, can't recall
I had this problem for at least 3 or 4 times.

Anyhow, remember to disable wifi when you "walk away" from the source seems to solve the problem.
Same case with mobile data, have to remember to turn it off, otherwise, wifi also get "jammed" when trying to get IP address.
Weird. But recently I don't recall having this issue.
Could be due to firmware/kernel upgrades fixing the issue.

Yeah, I have been wanting to get around trying rocket rom since V7...updates are getting published too fast for me to get around to it and it's at V13 now.  Just deciding whether to update to official KL3 via KIES or go with V13 as I will have a little bit of time messing with it the next 2 days or so.

I have rooted however and have Ti and root running.  No CWM as I also did not get around to flashing CF-Root Kernel with CWM.

I think it doesn't compatible with some router i guess.

Cause my house got 2 router. The main (1st) one always get disconnect and connected within some period and the secondary (2nd) one connected with no problem at all.

Yes, i undervolt by 100-150 mv across all CPU speeds .

If you upgrade to the official KL3 you will lose root and CWM. You cannot root back and have CWM reinstall. few users already complaining about this
The only option left for such users is to downgrade back to a rom using Odin on PC which zergrush n CWM can be installed eg KKA. Than use zergrush with CWM zimage to root and have CWM install back. Than download the official KL3 from XDA and use Mobile Odin to flash it together with Chainfire kernel ( in tar format)

how do u determine 100 or 150? u bantai reduce that amount or is there some sorta formula? can i reduce by even more?
