If you have problems connecting to Kies via your PC's USB, take out your memory card in your phone if you have any. I believe there is some bug preventing the phone from connecting to Kies when the memory card is in. The update should be ok after that.

eeee so sad...i kept getting "No Update is available"...

i tried already..still the same..i dono why since i tried in office, it does now prompt me for update.. only last night when at home, i get the update notice.. i will try at home again, if still failed, just proceed to rocket rom then.. since i need root also..

after update feel like very smooth ~

u using ota? i din get any msg from kies in the office pc.. kies is the another app which i don like apart from symbian's nokia suite..

but i feel like nokia suite better than kies...

yeap..using OTA.. should we use Kies instead??

ooh..but i dun really like..sometime it just give me problem like cannot detect the phone.. kies also the same..

i try to use OTA last night and it show no updates but when i use Kies it have !!

even now i try ota also no update..

not sure why yea...but i saw people at India use OTA got...but is India la..not malaysia...

You're not the only one. Zerg exploit does not work on Malaysia/Asia KL3 firmware. Just wait for someone to crack it.

Yup. Make sure any memory card you put in the Note is taken out first. If not, Kies tries to sync and look into the SD card and gives an error not able to connect the phone.

OTA memang tak da update. Only via Kies.

Did you manage to connect your Note via USB cable to your PC successfully? Any error messages?

My prompt for firmware update came out instantaneously when I connected my cable.

ok, done, it said pls update Kies to latest version and then update firmware..
then after click, update Kies, then it said "Latest version is installed : Ver 2.1.0.11112_41
but then nothing happened??

no need to take out memory card. try closing kies. reconnect usb cable and open kies again.
