under post 2, which method are u using? no.2 he say not useable to KL rom anymore..and no.1 he say already root.. so left no3? but i dun understand that..

I don't know why certain users cannot install CWM using the zergrush exploit - I can do it easily previously on other KL3 roms. In view of those few users problems, now Chainfire has come out with message will not work with KL* firmware
Actually if you are rooted , you can easily use Mobile odin to flash his CWM> Just download his cwm file - extract it just one level down to tar format NOT zimage and select this as kernel in Mobile odin and flash it - you will have root and CWM installed. this is exactly what I did with KL7 when it was first released as stock rom without any preroot

Yes installing the stock rom will change the kernel accordingly back to stock kernel
How come you are asking all these questions - I thought you are already familiar with flashing SGS II and dell streak ?
the principle is all the same

i remember you ever recommended a stock rom XXKL7 which you said is as good as rocket rom.
is this the one you refer? Stock XXXKL7
After using all the custom rom, which one is the most recommended rom from you?

Correct ; I find this one is as good as Rocket V12 but without his fancy themes and with new market too working
I would highly recommend it aqs a good alternative to Rocket rom

Since yesterday I have switched to test KL8 v 1.1 ( deodexed by abyss kernel developer and with abyss kernel 2.6)
Only issue is market cannot purchase apps but now corrected in v1.2

Do u plan to root ur phone after updating to 2.3.6? if yes, then just use 2.3.6 customs rom to avoid any problem later.

no i'm keeping myself from doing any modding to my Note until we get ICS. but if ICS is satisfying enough, i will not do anything to the original firmware. i'm concern about possible threat of malware, backdoor, malicious scripts etc.

I'd say such threats will only comes with pirated cracked apps not through cook roms. I have been using cook roms since my first Android Google Nexus and all subsequent android phones and tablets and have not experienced such nor have i heard of such issues with cook roms

The concept for android still the same, maybe the method would be different. I'm quite pening a bit when I'm familiar with samsung device then later on my friend ask me to root his HTC device. The concept still the same just the method might be different.

The image will only comes out in the S-Memo right?
