The sample image you posted even I opened in Opera browser also on top part the uneven colour is visible, so if set as wallpaper should be same.

Previously I noticed same wallpaper used in home and lock screen, the one in lock screen can see those uneven colour patches but in home screen seems ok.

Can we configure long press home key straight to open task manager?

I've tried to rationalize it from every aspect, but still couldn't find it a very good move.
yet, i can't help but still thinking to try Google Pure Android phone.

Do you think S2 with ics will be as good as Gnex's ics?
or just wait for s3?

What the difference when i download & install apps in phone memory / SD card?
any issue if i install the apps in SD card?

Certain apps will only make your phone hangs and FC if you put in your memory/sdcard. Better put all your songs, videos, pictures, ebooks and files in your memory/sdcard and leave all apps in your internal phone sdcard.

juz now went to one of the SEP store.

the guy told me that they are giving 2 yrs warranty for all their samsung products.

i am not sure whether he was not up to date or he could be true as in still giving 2 yrs warranty.

maybe after Gnex is launch then i will visit again and ask him again.

i see ppl are putting 64GB external sd card on note.. is there any side effect since the spec said that note only support external sd card up to 32 GB?

samsung have a very good marketing skill. S2 is flagship dual core phone, GNEX is to introduce first trully ics phone to the world. S3 most likely quadcore and with ics. If u ask me, i would say S3>Gnex>S2. Each newly introduced galaxy series is beter than another. My advice is get a phone that suit you well, no the phone that u thnk wil suit you.

I found there are few Note and GNex user that use 64GB sdcard without any problem. Mostly they put tons of songs and HD videos into that card. Otherwise 16 or 32GB should be enough.

Yeah, better buy two 32GB card rather than one 64GB. Reason : if the one 64GB card get corrupted then it gonna be a big headache. Better split it into two ~~LOL

Do not use his method as it required Odin from PC and you cannot have CWM installed. This rom in his blog was the first stock release with no root

Copy the zip file into phone internal sd or ext sdcard

Just flash this from clockworkmod recovery. You must install this CWM recovery first. Download the correct file matching your kernel: the step by step instruction is here

After you have installed CWM recovery - use the app CWM or with phone switch off, use the 3 hard buttons ( volup+home+power) to boot into recovery
At the recovery menu - select clear cache partition, and at advanced clear dalvik cache
Select update zip file - browse to where you have copied the file and select it
Booting up will take 5-10 mins deoending on how much data you have
If the phone do not reboot successfully after 10 mins, switch off phone or take out battery, put it back on and use the 3 hard buttons boot to recovery mode. This time select clear data/factory reset - this will wipe clean your install apps and data

Before you flash the new rom:
1. Use Titanium backup to backup your apps and data - you can easily restore these back if needee
2. At recovery mode, do a backup of your rom and all your apps/data : necessary step incase your flashing fail you can reboot to recovery to restore your old rom
