try clear up the memory first, then try view movie. maybe u have loads of barang running on the back ground. im constantly viewing full HD 2-4 gigs movie on my flight. ok saja.

press long on the mid button then go to task manager click the RAM tab adn then click the clear memory. cheers

You root your phone ; change the kernel to Abyss and you can use setcpu to setup profiles and adjust voltages. No need to flash any rom

Rickysay, i've been using my note for almost 2 weeks only...my first android phone...yeah out of the box, average use one charge will last longest until late night...but definitely need to charge every night...

Set display brightness to lowest and may last a bit longer but still need to charge nightly.

Then i tried juice defender free...set at aggressive mode, maybe can stretch another 10 to 20% longer...now i'm trying juice defender plus since yesterday...bought at 50% discount (offer until midnight tonite). So far after doing some settings, i think can stretch another 10-20%. But my settings can slow down the phone a bit but does not bother me bcos i'm not a heavy or advance user...

Try out juice defender free...

Just got my SGN, just wandering how can i transfer my contacts from N5800 to SGN?

Have been on Abyss latest kernel 2.6 nearly 3 hours and most obvious improvement is operating temperatures generally lower 2 to 5 degree C. So I believe battery usage would improve too. Download it at post # 877 at

Add another RM120 will entitle you to another 2 years warranty from senheng.
Total warranty 5 years.

according to alieamin, starting next year (tomorrow) no more 2 years warranty from sme...dats y i get my note today...rather than tomorrow...happy with it...never been happy like dis before...i dunno y..

1.Does anyone found any Otterbox/otterbox like for SGN?
2.I was told by the Sales person that ,cheap screen protector for SGN wont work nicely with the Pen.only ori screen protector for samsung works.which retais at 100++(after discount rm 40++).Is this true or is he just trying to sell the stuff?

Sorry guys, it may just be me, but I don't really understand the fixation everyone has on battery life. To me, it is a non-issue with the SGN, simply because out of the 20 different smartphones I have used over the past 6 years, the SGN has had the most frugal power consumption ever. For my uage, which is relatively heavy since I need full push of work exchange email, phone calls, I can still get 14 hours from 100%-0%. I could never get this type of battery life with any other device.

Like my bold 9900, unplug at 7am, flat by 2 pm. The only way to make it last longer before was by having to switch it to EDGE, which to me is handicapping the phone's ability.

This is something I have never had to do with the note, which is great! No compromises to make at all, especially since I am on the old maxis unlimited plan which really is unlimited.

I still have a backup energizer xpal, just in case I am at a client's office the whole day, but I just top it off if I am in the office with a generic micro usb charger, and it's fine.

Therefore, just enjoy the phone. The note is simply the best phone I have used ever, and never had to make compromises with its functionalities. Having said that, I am on the rocket v12, but even with stock it was great! I haven't had the urge to get anything else for the past 1 month plus I have been using it, and heartily reccommend the phone to everyone I meet. Sharing is caring!

Only thing is my facebook doesn't push properly LOL!
