QUOTE(benny888 @ Dec 20 2011, 09:03 AM) Rocketrom has upgraded to v9.1 : His changelog perhaps when already in previous rocket rom v8 etc doesnt have a problem with abyss? im on stock rom & just complete the v9-KL3 dl. i hope i will not faced the issue. Changelog ROCKET ROM-V9_1-KL3 back to FM Kernel v1.4 --> Abyss making problems as Root-Kernel when Full Wipe --> missing Root and Superuser and heating up device on First Boot! added old market for some users having problems with new one for people having market problems, download market 3.4.4 here However I do not faced such problems ; no overhaet issues and my root remain and market can be upgraded just by installing the apk Subsequently I upgraded the kernel to Abyss 2.2 |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Dec 20 2011, 05:56 PM) Correct, need KIES install first so that the phone can be detected by PC yes, i wiped data|cache|dalvik , all three. I pass the screen that said "Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000" then it went to bootscreen (I suppose) showing a android logo (in that "appeared-wash away" transition). Make sure KIES is closed, not running before executing the bat file Whole process can take up to 5 mins Make sure : settings/application - tick UNKNOWN SOURCES, and development /usb debugging is selected, and set display on max 10 mins Added on December 20, 2011, 6:02 pm Did you wipe cache partition and dalvik cache first before installing zip You ran into continual bootloop or screen seems stuck at SAMSUNG logo . If it is latter you need wait up to at least 5 mins , some users reported even 10 mins for it to fully reboot Your last resort, install stock KL3 first ( india rom) - get from XDA , than only install the V9 on top of it |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Dec 20 2011, 06:41 PM) Than you need to wait - depend on how much data you have, at least 5-10 mins to have it complete reboot ok, will wait it again, 1st time I waited about 30mins @ that bootscreen. my note felt very warm & i thought its not going anywhere than I decide to reboot again. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Dec 20 2011, 06:55 PM) It should not take more than 10 mins, which is quite extreme already. Try again and copy the zip file to internal sd. Possibly your external sd causing problems ok, will set a stopwatch after this, right now my note still charging via my laptop. i had not transfer that rom zip into external, once I transferred it via bluetooth from my laptop, i directly load from it (/mnt/sdcard/bluetooh/ROCKET-v9-KL3-eybee1970.zip) This post has been edited by ckyned: Dec 20 2011, 07:09 PM |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Dec 20 2011, 07:46 PM) The file should be copy to the root of the internal sd or root of ext sdcard and not in any subfolder. Use any file manager and manually copy it over to the root directory ok, now to confirm, I extend my waiting time, I took 11mins watching on note now. still Android logo > splashed away, splashed away & splashed away. p/s: even move the rom file to /mnt/sdrom/ROCKET-v9-KL3-eybee1970.zipAdded on December 20, 2011, 7:48 pm +++ 1 As long as the phone meets 80 % of your needs, it is good enough already. Even the great iphone 4 and iphone4s has its own sets of problems |

QUOTE(razin @ Dec 21 2011, 07:27 PM) been reading your blog actually this is my step using CWM (take note) im not using ODIN. if Im not wrong that rom file in zip is meant for flash with CWM only. Using ODIN to flash to Indian ROM is no problem as I have done Odin. In order to flash Rocket V9, I need to: "go to CWM Recovery, - wipe data/factory reset > yes - wipe cache partition > yes - Wipe Dalvik Cache (in advanced menu) > yes - install zip from sd card - choose zip from internal sdcard (i put the rom here /mnt/sdrom/ROCKET-v9-KL3-eybee1970.zip) > yes" Put the zip file (no need to unzip) into mnt/sdcard directory right? If yes, I will do it tonight....TIA This post has been edited by ckyned: Dec 21 2011, 09:49 PM |
