from what i understand, n correct me if i'm wrong, if u buy from senq/heng, u got 2 years warranty (1 year from sme n 1 year from senq/heng)...

n according to alieamin, starting dis year (2012) there will be no more 2 years warranty from sme...

dats what i understood la..n correct me if i'm wrong...i bought it from alieamin on 31/12/2011, he said i entitled 2 years warranty...coz i bought in 2011, not 2012...dats what he said...

mine got 2 years warranty..it will end 12/2013

will the Note get overcharged when it reaches 100% fully charged when the Note simply switches to the power output coming from the charger??
I plan to just use the charger whenever i am home. because of it's low battery lifespan. Is that wise? will it get overcharged?

as what i know, senq should have 3 yrs warranty..1 yr sme and 2 yr from senq or senheng.. i bought my s2 and other phones from there last time, this is what i have been told and what i saw in my resit.. are they shorten the warranty? and for the 2 yrs warranty from senq, they phone may or may not repair by sme..they may choose to repair by 3rd party..depend type of products also..

Added on January 1, 2012, 8:00 amthe heat produced will shorten the battery. if battery is your concern, get a spare battery to replace or battery bank... this is safer way i suppose..

factory reset will not remove root so still warranty is void

if unroot then the warranty still valid?

is the rocketrom incl the "samsung apps" this app??? or need to install ourselves?

yes but from many user experience including mine service center never bother whether root or with flash rom, warranty still valid foc

any significant difference between the abyss and fm kernel???? is it a must or recommended to flash the abyss??

you test yourself and decide. both are equally good. I find absyss has better temperature control and close to instant start from idle screen , no need to wait for even 1 sec
when you change kernel must always wipe cache partition and at advanced dalvik cache. Rebooting will take 5-10 mins depending on how much data you have. Be patient don't do anything to phone or you will soft brick it

Things to look out for genuine Melko : box has Melko brand , the case itself has Melko engraved and if flip top down case there is a hole for usb charging. Now many sellers at lelong and lowyat forum selling Melko look alike pricing around RM 70 only

This type of cheap TPU gel - don't expect too much. The sides are normally quite sharp edges and rough. I prefer to use better quality gel TPU types such as Nilkin

Added on January 1, 2012, 10:05 ami bought a melkco case for dhd b4 from him. the case i received was original genuine product from melkco. his price is consider reasonable if not cheapest compare to other seller.. but sometime, his reply a bit long time to wait..maybe he seldom online or check his msg.. the best way is still using sms i think or phone call..

Flashing the rocket rom will change whatever kernel you have on the phone
You can flash any kernel including stock kernel if you wish anytime on top of any rom

how can i register my SGN warranty ah? actually this should b done by the retailer or by myself?
