fyi, you can buy games even if your Vita MMC is full.

Be patient and get the 64GB later. Both Nintendo and Sony allow handhelds to transfer games to PC.

you mean i can buy it then downlad it later with new mmc? lol its ok, since i already bought 16gb and i mostly buy physical copy so i can save my money again later xD

I am absolutely new in this playstation platform. I am thinking to purchase one for myself since i am a person who are always not at home and does not own a PC.

So i heard that psp is famous with RPG game which definitely favor me the most.

Nevertheless, i would be very appreciated if someone could give me a piece or two of advices for psp recommendation.

I have a few questions as following.

1) What is the latest version of psp?
2) Why there are many versions of psp? Any differences in gamewise?
3) My budget could be around rm600. Any device within that range?
4) I saw an online feature in psp. Does that mean we can play game online with people?

yeap, this should be the right thread to ask, although these informations aren't too hard to find online too.

1) The latest PS handheld is PS Vita, the successor of PSP( PSP have many version due to hardware revision ). PSV also has 2 version, 1k, and 2k. The main difference is 1k has better screen, 2k is lighter, and uses microUSB to charge
2) apart from PSP and PSV( old console and new console ), there are no difference among hardware revisions, like PSV 1k and PSV 2k are the same in gameplay
3) given recent discount, i think u can get new unit of Vita for 6xx.
4) Online feature is mostly for PS Vita, most the games these days allow you to go online and have coop mission with other players

note that all the new games will be out on PS Vita now, and PSP is already consider legacy console( correct me if i'm wrong ). I would definitely recommend PSV over PSP if you're buying it now.

Before buying a Vita, please consider what region that suits your game taste.
1. R2 JPN if many games from Jpn are not localized
2. R1 if you want to have more console except Vita.
R1 have many sales but the frequency of Vita games
for sale in the future is questionable if localized
game sales target is not reached

R3 is an odd one. See the games listed in Asia PSN
and compare to NA PSN.

Damn R2 vita games r rare. I have a R2 Witcher 3 and Mortal.Kombat X for ps4 though.

Indeed... I went thru all the vendors I could find out there... many carries those R2 games are only AAA or hyped titles (well, just titles I am not fond of)... Arggh, and now Playasia doesn't even provide free shipping anymore
