True..it is ROM related problem ( i dunno that it's a known issue). I put chimera updated back and the sounds are working fine. So it's ok, will flash it back to ICS. I put the pads side by side, one with chimera updated, another with ICS beta1, then i notced a clear difference on the display. ICS beta1's display is much better than chimera updated. So it's final, flash it back to beta1. And lets wait for the sound patches from the lads (if they are developing any).

sorry, wasn't playing with viewpad 10s lately....got bored with it..hehehehe....anyway, waiting for ics alpha to be stable...

hi my tablet got a problem, i plug in the charger and the tab did not charging and power off minutes after that. can anyone enlighten me about issues i am facing, do i need to send to service centre?

Added on April 14, 2012, 9:43 pmhow to solve google time-out problem? ICS beta1. everytime surfing thru market for 3 - 5 mins time-out appears. also, when downloading apps, market seemed to hang until downloading finished. maybe its my unit as just took back from sc.
problem still not fixed. stock rom used for 40 mins problem reappear. 10 days at sc and still the same. very very very dissappointed. have to send back to sc again.. for me, it looked like digitizer fault as when unit warmed up, everything froze. how they didnt detect this is a mystery as claimed to hv fixed. totally lost confidence in this brand.

Think so. I have no problem with google apps on beta1. Browser rarely fc. That's all. Shud bring back to sc. No other choice.

heating related problems r hard to detect...especially inside airconditioned room (like in SC or offices)....so no wonder d SC tech did not encounter d prob.

BTW...have u tried corvus5 rom yet? i'm using it right now and it's d fastest rom i've used....i can watch youtube on maxthon browser for hours and it's still running smoothly without lag...something isnt possible with ICS and HC roms. it can also be OC'ed to 1.4ghz but run unstable on my tablet...but using it with 1.2ghz problem free. i'll be using corvus until ICS 4.0.4 comes out .

hehe..busy with family matters...ICS is still buggy....i am fine with vegacomb now....but tangan gatal to try corvus.......cos my google play always got error!

apart from the wifi and random shutdown issue (manageable by manually toggle on/off wifi before/after sleep mode) i have no issue with vegaICS beta1.
im just proud to have ICS on my tablet while those with Galaxy tab are still running honeycomb hehe..

U should try to do dalvik and data wipe and then firmware reset from cwm....but u'll loose every app u've installed.

Not all..just 2 at the moment. We juz dun want to spend much on a tablet as it is something nice to have but not necessary. Will spend more money on handphone rather than a tablet. And i found that viewpad is the worthy one.

Added on April 21, 2012, 2:10 pmRun somt test on ICS beta1 battery life. with wifi ON, playing 720p mkv file using dice player with dice player's screen brightness and volume 100%, it last for aboout 4hrs 20mins.

Then i made another test with wifi OFF, using headset (no speaker audio), others were the same, and it last exactly 5 hrs with 3% battery left.

So it's not 6.5 hrs huh? or may be can reach 6.5hrs using other ROM?? not sure la..just want to share la this..

want to ask..anyone here manage to solve the insufficient internal memory issue? it's seems that i can't install alot of application even though i use link2sd.

have u tried Gemini App Manager? I found out that there are apps that is not movable using apps2sd but Gemini manage to move it.
