In horizontal position if view from below or tilt slightly backward u only can see black screen. But if u view from above or direct 90 degree screen look sharp and clear. Eg on ur lap when u are seated.

Same goes to vertical position u need to tilt the left side slightly backward to get perfect viewing angle.

Other cons of this tablet are:

Sensitive touch screen-eg. When u slide ur finger left or right u will tend to select some apps or unwanted double click. This can be overcome by apply more pressure while u touch the screen.

Low RAM and internal memory- u need to push all ur newly downloaded apps to ur sd and kill ur apps before opening new 1. Mine left 100-120mb free space for both. So no animated wallpaper for me...

Not so attractive design and it's quite heavy compare others powerful tablet out there.

Pros:

Cheap, half the price to those branded tablet. Closest competitor will be MSI joypad 10 cost around 1k

Full USB and hdmi port, files transfer no issue. U can even play songs and movies straight from ur USB.

I just received my casing that I bought from eBay on the 4th rm52 plus postage.
Quality OK and its fit nicely except the power adapter port hole slight mis-aligned.
Now the audio slightly louder due to the bounce back effect.

why everytime i want to download from the stock app store i always have to force shutdown ? been playing around for an hour and still no 1 apps downloaded

in need of screen protector and casing as well...links anybody?

2 small problems I noticed.

1. Camera app. Even with a MicroSD card inside, it says "Insert SD Card"

2. Screenshot doesnt work. Long press on the Recent Activity button shows "Failed to save the screenshot"

I'm on VegaComb 3.0 Build 9n with Update3

IM planin to buy this model... is it recomended ?

i don't encounter your 1st problem though...on the same vegacomb version...but picture quality really bad.
for 2nd problem, haven't try so dunno.

Apparently, the memory card caused it

flashed to viewcomb as Vegacomb always got problem crashed wit my 10s,now it's working fine except sometimes browser will auto close when i try to watch live football match.

cant seem to be able to download the android market file? keep saying unknown format...

That's strange. I dont have this app market download problem. I installed it everytime I flashed and install roms as it seemed to disappear. Did you download the android market apk file?

i solved it by using viewcomb now...but the thing is when i connect to the pc it doesnt detect the pad...i cant transfer files..

ok found it...hehehe loving the pad

viewcomb seems to have bad sound quality..

I seemed to have problems with honeyice as the tablet suddenly wouldnt boot after 1 week of usage. Been flashing and reinstalling but problem still persist. Now on to vintage edition and touchwood so far so good.
1 more thing, when I unmount the sd card, the card suddenly got corrupted from 6gb to 32mb only. Now am using another sd card. Any way to recover the card not for the contents but the card itself.
What is the Drive Mount app for as after I used that and unmount it and also in application settings, the corruption started.

it's a known bug for latest vegacomb/honey ice...stock browser + flash = auto close/CTD. u need to either update to honey ice RC3 (not released yet) or install viewcomb 3.2 build 7.2 or 6.3. Or u can use Opera mobile and in d settings...u need to set d flash = on demand (click) and UI = tablet or android. And use 2 or 3 tabs only when browsing. d purpose is to use as little ram as possible. Other ways to reduce auto close...u can install speed boost lite from market and do clean sys/optimize cache before using opera.

IMO...u should connect ur card to a PC adapter and do fresh format and set allocation to default. if u still cant restore correct size...u can use partition manager s/ware and delete every partition u can find from ur microsd card...and repartition it.

guys, can how is video performance for this tablet? im in big dilema on buying Viewpad 10s or Ployer MOMO8 ,
can someone guide me , which is better on performance wise? the main reason im aiming for viewpad is bcos of internal 3G.

Can't comment on momo but the viewpad is certainly worth the money IMO..update to honeycomb and it gets better..lots of people using it as well so easy to Google around in case of problem...well its jut me don't know bout others

dunno which 1 is gud coz never use momo b4, but viewpad got local warranty fron SIS.in terms of performance...depends on ur personal experience with both tablets.if u don't mind d crap viewing angle and touch sensitivity then go for viewpad...but this tablet got gud support worldwide coz got custom rom which updated regularly incl. ICS in da future.

but one of seller told me.. if upgrade to honeycomb will void warranty..

then upgrade can be reversible ? in case i wanted to goback to stock still possible ?
