Generally there's 2 types of FF outlets: Platinum Outlet and normal home outlet. Platinum outlet more premium but of course, you pay more for the membership. Currently there are 4-5 Fitness First Platinum (Mont Kiara, KBT, Empire etc)

1. Platinum membership : you have access to all FF outlets in Malaysia and the international ones as well
2. Passport membership : you have access to all FF outlets in Malaysia except Platinum outlets
3. Home membership : you only have access to your home club (meaning just that 1 club)

It depends on your need to enroll based on which type of membership. There is also weekend-only-membership which allows access to that 1 club from Friday night till Sunday.
*
Only minor differences btw Plat FF club and other normal FF club.

The only major different I saw is the swimming pool in Empire Subang (one of the plat club).

Probably Sweet_pez which works very close to there  laugh.gif

Occasionally, I visit there for fun too.

Get a plat membership so you can switch clubs easily.
Idk what you do in gym, but I would be dead exhausted after I'm done with my regime, thus, reducing my productivity for work, if there's any.

Hahahaha only on Wednesday morning you'll find me there... and special occasion like today - Grit new release launch. Some Thursdays I would drop by to join my friend for Grit workout.

QUOTE(Eve90 @ Sep 6 2013, 08:50 PM)
Great to hear that. But I am worried that it might be dangerous to go to the gym so earlier since we have to walk from parking to the gym. Do you go alone or with company?
*
Oh for Paradigm it's easy. I park right next to the lift and just take lift up to G and I've reached FF. I have seen some securities patrolling/ walking around car park at 6+am. I have been going alone for 3-4weeks but recently a friend of mine decided to join in lol we drive separate car but go up together. It's only temp though as he won't be able to join me in March next year -_____-;; so sad. It's always nice to workout with a company.

Corrected.

How do you define the 'international'?

Fitness First Subang Empire moved the machines around to make way for a large open area for functional training. Not sure if I like the change as the space is now quite cramped.

Really? When did this happen?

Btw I wanna ask - if I go Empire FF early (8am) before Mall opens, where should I park and enter the lift to get to FF directly?

Hi there! It happened a few months ago.

If you wanna go to Empire early, I suggest to park at B1, near the hotel entrance. You should see a MyNews.com outlet. Walk your way up to Madam Kwan. I don't have a better suggestion, really. I'll check it out tomorrow morning (going at 6).

If anyone can give a suggestion I will be grateful.

Sure can enter.

There is a direct lift at B2 (SOHO Lift) that goes straight to level 8 (FF), but I'm not sure if you use it before the mall opens.

I am going at 630am actually... heheh. Less people, more machines for me!!!!!!!!! haha

Visited Gorgeous KBT last 2 days. The place is big - 5 floors! Definitely bigger than FF KBT but just can't get used to the environment there. For some funny reason I just find Gorgeous very 'alien' to me laugh.gif couldn't wait to leave right after class. If there's one thing I like about the place - it's the rooftop <3

Although it was Open Day, the staff in front desk stopped us and ask if we're brought in by any member @@ almost didn't allow us to go in. But if we just walk past the reception (no need towel) and go straight to the lift, they wouldn't know right? Because unlike FF, there's no need to swipe the card.

Yerrrr I went Paradigm on 7th Sept and look for her, she's off cry.gif no luck.

Yea gorgeous fitness entry security is quite lax. There are cases where people just borrow their friends card and flash it to the reception. Works every time apparently. Imo still risky because if they insist on checking before you go in ie inputting the number into the pc and the profile pic they take when they issue the card is different then you're in trouble

For me I just tell the reception my id no. I don't even carry my card around lol.

In Empire I find it easy to park at B3, because there is an autopay machine there.

However, the SOHO lift doesn't stop at B3, you gotta descend one level of stairs to B4, then take the lift to level 8.

On the way back, just drop at B2, then walk one level of stairs down.

In The Curve, there is a lift right in front but I don't usually park in The Curve so I am unsure. I usually park at eCurve (the cinema there?), and walk through the street mart.

No kidding... I'm really surprised they're so chillax. One friend used his mum's card to enter FF and it had been ongoing for quite a few months till he was caught. I can't believe they only caught him after so long. Every time members swipe card to get in, the card holder's picture flashes on the monitor (big one too) laugh.gif

Eh... then meaning the SOHO lift doesn't stop at B1 or B2, only B4? hmm.gif There's a lot of lift around Empire... is it the one near NEWS entrance?

Hmm. The SOHO lift doesn't stop at B3. Stops at B1,B2,B4.

The SOHO lift is located on your right, right after you pulled the ticket from the ticket machine entering the carpark.

Does anyone know whether Fitness First at Empire Subang Jaya offers daytime memberships? What about their equipment; do they have individual weight machines and a rowing machine? I thought I'd get some background information from you folks before trekking down there for the full sales pitch.

I don't think there's a daytime membership with FF?

Why not sign up for the 7-days free trial before you make up your mind? I think nothing beats trying out the facility first.

I think they have a Weekend Warrior package where you can enter from Friday evening to Sunday closing time. Can't remember the exact times. This package also has Platinum, Blue and Home types. The price varies. I don't think they have a daytime membership.

The gym has those Hammer Strength/Pure Strength machines. Yes there is a rowing machine.
