Hello. I just joined FF. Platinum membership and will mostly work out in the morning on weekdays (before work) at Mont Kiara Branch. And on weekends will go to the Cheras Leisure Mall branch if I'm free.

Anyone with the same schedule/place as I am?

Platinum membership can go to ALL of their centre including overseas. I'm only taking it because one of their platinum members exclusive branch is near my office (Mont Kiara). Regular members can't go to platinum exclusive branches.

They quote me 200. A bit pricey if you ask me, but for my own convenience I took it up lo.

A year. Was considering TF before since they are offering me 100 per month for 2 years contract. But the sales guy being damn pushy and the smelly bathroom turns me away. Plus they don't have a branch near my house in Cheras.

Yeah it's pricey but standard price. If you ask me, it's reasonable if you maximize your membership (meaning go to gym often lol).

Good thing you didn't sign up with TF. Google the TF thread here and you'll find pages and pages of never ending complain about them.

Yeah I am a regular gym goers. I go almost everyday in my old company since they provided a gym. With my increased salary in this new company it should cover the expensive fees lol.

Also they are rumors that my company is considering gym allowances to staffs. rclxm9.gif

Yes agree. If you're talking about yoga/ GX and RPM, Axis's one is bigger tongue.gif but in terms of machines, pantry, freestyle area etc Paradigm is better (newer and bigger).

Yup I go Paradigm on and off biggrin.gif but am a regular there on Wednesday morning.

RM201.60 inclusive of the 6% GST and yes, it's by credit card.

I have seen some members pay at the front desk. Try negotiating with the membership consultant to see if they'll allow you to pay cash monthly. If they're desperate enough for business (and not against their policy), it's possible.

No... don't need a PT. Although I'm not 100% disciplined, I think I do enough workout (clock in averagely 12-14 hours of workout per week in the gym). Instead of paying for PT, I leverage on the classes and online videos or materials. In fact I always ask tips from other veteran members and class instructors wink.gif it's sufficient. Like I always believe in - ask and you shall receive (well, 50% of the time lol). Gym members (of those that I know) are very generous and more than willing to share if you ask.

What are you interested in doing at FF? Yoga or GX class or weights? Others?

They failed swiping my initial payment and allow me to pay by cash for that session lol.

If you opt cash payment they are expensive by 10-20 ringgits if I'm not mistaken.

I'm too shy to make friends with existing members, so I just go in, do my businesses and goes out.

Also I feel very very awkward when another guy trying to initiate a conversation with me in the Steam Room. doh.gif
