FF has been graded their PTs into different levels: personal trainer, master trainer, elite trainer etc. Each PT has different rate.

Never being to Leisure Mall, but the PT area should have a chart which shows all their PTs' pretty face and their proficiency level.

You may want to ask for details at the PT counter.

Avoid driving in KL? :3 Avenue and MBF both aso in KL. But I'd always wanted to visit the outlet in KL as well. We continue through PM. Way OOT hahaha.
No way, it's more for self satisfaction tongue.gif  Rule No.1, never train for others - it's all about yourself. At least that's for me. When you workout with a motive like that, it would not sustain. Besides most Asians/ Malaysians prefer slim/ slender girls (if I'm not mistaken).

Are you a BA fan? Yeah saw Axis got BA but only twice a week. Agree that Paradigm should have at least 1-2 BA class. It's not fair to remove it altogether. They used to have Attack... maybe Grit was more popular so they changed all the slots. It's always full and if I want to attend, I'd need to ask my friend to help me register.

Plat members aso need to travel around to enjoy all classes. There's no 1 club that offers complete/ full range of classes right? Not that I notice. Besides if I'm not mistaken, only Paradigm has the license to Grit. Heard that something called 'hardcore strength' is coming up from FF (some instructors are already taking it up); apparently quite similar to hardcore but the latter involves carrying weights as well. *cough* a little like Grit?

Yessssssss agree with you that FF Setia Mall has got a nice view. The Freestyle area is bit more spacious but class is smaller. What to do, Setia's club is newer than KBT. KBT no RPM, freestyle area is small, less machines, pantry aso small... the only thing i like - class is pretty big. At least more space to move around.

Ok I see. 6 packs = slim/ slender for girls/ ladies.laugh.gif

Try BA before...too strenuous 4 me. I got knee problem, better avoid this....

Yes. Hardcore Strength will be introduced in FF and not just limited to Paradigm mall.

Eeeeee why says 6packs = slim/ slender?

6 packs = fit
Slim/ slender = frail (in my opinion)

Ah yes, BA is bad for knees especially the jumping lunges. I hate that. I go for options recently because I wouldn't want to exhaust my knees.

Hardcore strength is developed in-house so they can introduce it to all FF outlets. No license involved so it's easier for FF to control. Hope it'll be good. The "Lose It" program (circuit) that was introduced had been reduced to only 1 class in KBT. It's not working :3

For BA, track no. 4 is the hardest?

I noticed most new ppl give up on the first half of the BA session.

Second half is not so bad...

How come only FF members is active in lowyat?

I don't see Celebrity Fitness active thread?

For TF, most of the time their members are active when they have something to complain in lowyat...

Not exactly. But the new release (release 81), track 4 was very tough. Squat, burpee and tuck jump in 1 combo. After that it's jumping lunges.

Extracted from wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BodyAttack

"For the 55-minute format, the class is arranged to the 12 tracks on a CD produced by the company, timed to allow 55 minutes of exercise.[4]

Track 1: Provides a warm-up consisting of low-intensity exercises.
Tracks 2-4: Provide aerobic exercise, increasing in level of intensity, using movements such as marches, kicks, jumps and stepping movements. Interval training is usually involved (in track 3) and plyometric exercises are also included (in track 4). Less challenging options are provided for those for whom plyometric work is not currently suitable. Near-maximum cardiovascular intensity is reached at the end of track four.
Track 5: Involves floor-based exercises to develop upper-body strength and muscle endurance, including push-ups and exercises to develop core stability.
Track 6: Involves running, often in a circle around the perimeter of the room.
Track 7: Involves exercises to develop agility, usually derived from movements used in various sports. This track is traditionally in a two group format, half of the class facing the other half.
Tracks 8-9: Provide further cardiovascular exercises, again building up. Track 8 concentrates around interval training and track 9 is aimed to reach maximum cardiovascular intensity, the highest of the entire class. Once again, low-impact options are provided for those participants who are unwilling or unable (e.g. due to injury) to jump or run.
Track 10: Involves exercises to develop lower-body strength (e.g. squats and lunges)
Track 11: Involves exercises to develop core stability (e.g. using crunches and plank exercises).
Track 12: Provides a cool-down involving various stretches"

BA had evolved a lot. It used to be very aerobic based with some small break here and there but it's moving towards HIIT with high cardio movements and very little rest.

Just enquired regarding the monthly membership fee at Fitness First, Setia City Mall. Passport : RM167, Platinum : RM190

Can anybody confirm this? Pretty expensive, wondering if they can lower the fees like how some members get unofficial special discounts on monthly membership fee.

Yes, One Club member (after you've been with FF for more than 10 months) can automatically bring a friend for workout on weekends smile.gif

Old rate is good, wished I joined FF several years ago -.-

Haha. I'm doing a professional paper, this, flexible hours to both work or study.

Not really busy on weekdays, that's why.
