FF the curve or FF paradigm mall better?
*
Very subjective. Personally I also prefer paradigm but some points to considered:

curve workout and GX studio space is bigger and monkey bar is bigger as well. paradigm mall ground floor only have the reception and machine/studio are all on second floor. Whereas curve both levels have machines with GX studio on top and cycling studio at low level.

2 laptops for used in lounges area since it is plat club but paradigm don't have

surrounding shopping environment : whether you like curve or paradigm mall.

You also need to have a look at their GX timetable to see your favorite classes are more frequent in which club.

Fitness First do state their Dual Access fees on their website if you like to also workout at Celebrity Fitness:

Anyone knows what's the current price for FF membership (single club or multiclub, not the one with Dual Access). most likely will only use the one at Avenue K.

Heard it's possible to negotiate with the salesperson, any tips? hmm

Should be around RM220 or RM230+6% (if any) for Platinum. I'm also a Plat member; but with AIA Vitality received 30% rebate for monthly membership... so every month I'm only paying RM170 or so. You can refer to one of my AIA Vitality post in this thread - probably 1-2 pages back.

Platinum price is as per above. Not sure about single club. I'll recommend to go for Platinum for easy access to all clubs. Also refer to my AIA Vitality post 1-2 pages back - you can save a lot with this, no joke. I'm surprised to hear people still paying full membership fee when they can benefit from Vitality.

Also, FF prices are pretty much fixed. Not sure from whom you heard can nego, but sadly, it's all fixed. The nego part is likely to be waiver of registration fees, admin fees etc that you pay when enrolling in the membership. Ask for the free gifts as well (bag/ tumbler etc).

Yeah FF prices is pretty fixed. The only way to reduce payments is by paying thru credit cards, subscribe under corporate rate and AIA Vitality I suppose.

Because those are so called Platinum branches.

Anyway I kinda regret dual membership now. After went to a few, I find CF a bit lacking. Have to bring own lock, no hot shower, no lounge area. Sheeshhhhh

Just noticed your previous post above. After several months, how do you find CF? Still the same?

Kinda regret dual membership lol.

CF is always crowded, the hot water are not always hot and the locker so smol and some branch you need to bring your own lock.

Advantage is I can gym where FF is not available, but given the chance, I will actively seek out FF branches. But on the bright side, under my company corporate rate now I basically pays the same amount for dual access compared to before (my company havent join corporate rate thingy back then), so not really rugi anything? lol

Owhhh don't have to regret, it's just paying for the convenience biggrin.gif and you needed the convenience.

Yes I agree with that part about the lock. It's quite a hassle if you forgot to bring it. And in fact, even with padlock, I've heard of cases where locker(s) were broken into. Just be careful of your belongings.

I heard about AIA Vitality discount but AIA Vitality is only available FOR AIA insurance policy holders. I don't have any insurance plan with AIA, what is the cheapest plan I can take if you know? And the RM12x price after discount is only for the first year right?

Yes, it's only for AIA insurance policy holder. I've heard from some members that you can sign up with AIA Medical Card. However it's better to check with an AIA agent and see if this is truly eligible (lets not rely on hearsay): https://www.aiavitality.com.my/vmp-my/how_to_join

It's not RM12x ya, it's around RM170 after the 25% membership rebate (monthly). This is fixed, and no changes at the moment. I've signed up for Vitality for >1 year and still paying RM170+. If you're hardworking enough to hit the x number of gym sessions (ughhh 30 or 36? sessions) each quarter, you're eligible for 30% cashback of your membership. This amount will be refunded/ transferred directly to your bank account thumbsup.gif

Thanks for the info. It's RM170+ before the 30% cashback, so after the cashback (if hit the criteria) will be RM120+ am I right?

Yes around there... but I've been a member for around 4-5 years so my rate is different vs a newly joined Platinum member (likely). So yours could be slightly more, depending on the membership rate now.

Right on that... but very sad le cry.gif it's one of my favourite club. Axis as well (and they closed it too!). While these clubs may be old, they're convenient to find parking, rate (parking) is reasonable and are within my reach with no problem. Really heartbroken that they're closing MML! It was just renovated a year+ ago too sad.gif
