Anyone here from Fitness First Manulife?
I am thinking of signing up there as it is close to my work place.

Here are my questions:
1) condition of the equipments (especially the weights area)
2) peak time
3) parking

If there is anything else you'd like to add, feel free to comment. The more info I can get, the better!

Nope, sadly it's closing down for good... FF direction is more to Malls now instead of office/ corp buildings.

We regret to inform you that after much deliberation and consideration, we will be closing your Fitness First Menara Manulife club on 30 November 2018 after a memorable 17 year run.

Fitness First Menara Manulife (formerly known as Menara John Hancock) was the pioneer Fitness First club in Malaysia, and opened its doors to the Malaysian gym goers in October 2001. Set in a plush and beautiful residential area that houses some of the most prestigious homes in the country, the club has been a significant part of our portfolio throughout this time; especially among the Damansara Heights community. Between now and 30 November, we will continue to offer full services at Fitness First Menara Manulife, including Personal Training and Group Exercise classes. Our club operation hours will also remain the same.

We have communicated alternative training and membership options to our Menara Manulife members, in order to minimise disruption to their regular fitness routine.

This year, we have made significant investments to the Fitness First network of clubs through network expansion, club enhancements, personal trainer and instructor development, and expanding our Signature group fitness offerings. Through our new parent company Evolution Wellness Holdings Pte. Ltd., enhancements are also being made to our sister brand Celebrity Fitness clubs, and we are also working hard to expand our network of clubs in Malaysia, and you can expect to hear more news about this in future.

As we prepare to say goodbye to our Menara Manulife club, the team and I would like to express our gratitude for your support and loyalty throughout the years. We wish to assure you that we remain fully committed to our business in Malaysia, and provide support to those who are in pursuit of a fitter, healthier lifestyle. I believe it is auto no? Then again I also have Samsung Watch, so they data might sync from there.

im using Samsung Health. so far for my phone, i need to run the app in the background for it to record my steps. if i close the app completely,  it wont detect my steps

By far i need to turn it on only can record =/
In background mean app has to be active all the time right?
Unlike google fit even its closed the service still recording step behind the scene?

Should be around RM220 or RM230+6% (if any) for Platinum. I'm also a Plat member; but with AIA Vitality received 30% rebate for monthly membership... so every month I'm only paying RM170 or so. You can refer to one of my AIA Vitality post in this thread - probably 1-2 pages back.
Platinum price is as per above. Not sure about single club. I'll recommend to go for Platinum for easy access to all clubs. Also refer to my AIA Vitality post 1-2 pages back - you can save a lot with this, no joke. I'm surprised to hear people still paying full membership fee when they can benefit from Vitality.

Also, FF prices are pretty much fixed. Not sure from whom you heard can nego, but sadly, it's all fixed. The nego part is likely to be waiver of registration fees, admin fees etc that you pay when enrolling in the membership. Ask for the free gifts as well (bag/ tumbler etc).

Sure you can. Show the front desk your Vitality card and ask them to do the membership adjustment fee for you. It's quite fast. In the following month you'll see the new fee reflected in your statement.
