soory noob here...just wanna ask..which opty is worth 2 buy? 144 or 146?
coz the differences of price between them is nearly rm200
*
rite now 144s are doing as well as 146s.
if u ask me, i wud go for a 144.
reason to that is :-
1. its cheaper.
2. probally will hit the same clock speeds as a 146 [those new batches are a killer XD]

these are just my 2 cents worth biggrin.gif

opty 146 will give u some extra bandwidth with multiplier x10 compare to opty 144(x9). But overall i think new batch opty 144 is more worth . Price/performance. thumbup.gif

yup.. it was set at default vcore.

Don't lie.The version of cpu-z you are using will only show 1.375 if you set more than 1.4v in bios,1.425 perhaps?Bingo!

I'm also using SLI-D with CAB1E 0614.

Huh? Why would I lie about it? It was set at 1.4v in bios. There is no point in lying about an overclock. It's either your chip can do it or it can't. Sheesh.

Besides, if u think CPU-Z is misreporting it, let me know which voltage reader you are comfortable with and I will be happy to stuff the prime stable screen up your a*se to show you. whistling.gif

bro, wat i mean is if addin voltage wun do gud, it's time to reduce d temp if u were to clock ya chip higher. 4give me for my poor english... tongue.gif

hmmm.... i assume u put ram setting to auto, looks familiar to me especially d trc & trfc. hynix chippy? blink.gif

i think this is very subjective issue, it's more psu dependent. in my case, if i set 1.4v in bios, cpu-z will show 1.375v sharp. dun make any assusmption just base on ya own judgement coz wat work for u not alwez applicable for others... sweat.gif

1.4v was for 3ghz. 1.45v for 3.12ghz. 1.595v (1.45*110%) for 3.2ghz.

Judging from the amt of vcore needed for 3.2ghz, the chip should be hitting its limit soon which my current cooling setup.
