Geil Ultra "EMPEROR" Ic. Not samsung TCCD. Price is around RM6xx frm Doublelick bulk. Here's an update. A "lower-voltage" version. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() All setting for ram in bios, is AUTO. heheh.... yeah.. .i dunno what value to set when using divider. playing safe, just use auto. |

QUOTE(redbull_y2k @ Jun 5 2006, 02:02 AM) Care to tell what mobo and what ram divider did u use? Certain batch of opteron don't mix well with certain ram dividers. Like mine for example, won't work well with 133 ram divider but works perfectly with 100, 166 and 200. Why not just set auto in the DRAM Configuration 1st. Let it boot with loose timing, then, try to tighten it 1 by 1 after that? That's how i configured my GEiL. |

Now, i just test the 0607. The 0604 havent touch it yet.
TDP : 38.2w TMaxCase : 55c Core : San Diego I wonder if these values give any meaning. |

hmmm.... so... 1.38 + [1.38v x 0.1] = 1.52v is the max? Does this apply if using watercooling?
Btw, gsan, how is ur opty? any improvement after burn-in? |

Guys, just want to know. There's a software called "CORE TEMP" in xtremesystems forum which can detect your proc temp. Hv u guys tried this b4 bcoz, i'm getting 10c higher reading than any software (smartguardian, everest, sandra, mbm). Here's my experiment :
My proc TCaseMax is 55c. I always failed prime when my temp reach 44c-46c ( in smartguardian and mbm readout ). Even adding up vcore, using divider for RAM, still doesnt help. When i use CORE TEMP, it's actually 55c when prime start to fail. At my TCaseMax! |
