Think they would come out with a G55 instead?

The product sheet in CES did mention a 15.6" screen version of the new G-series.

Depends on photoshop installed plugin, if u install hardware accelleration patch then u'll get slightly performance depending if ur gpu is supported. Most of the time, it rely on CPU, RAM, HDD for scratch disk.

Try unplug and re-plug the battery to see if it will charge up. Its a common Windows something show not charging sometimes. Normal the battery indicator wil turn orange if battery is charging.

try having ur msi afterburner and check if there frame drops. If there is it could be throttled.

I observed cpuz and indeed got throttled..was installing something and CPU randomly dropped to ~800Mhz so i assume that's the reason laggin my game? is there workaround? or just waiting new updates from Asus?

hmm strange..my HP dv6 sandy-i7 +6770m never face this issue tho. sad.gif

At this rate, seems like a G55 since the exhaust is different from the G74.

Looks like its going to be even harder to take apart. Judging from the keyboard is likely attached.
Anyway, they designed it slimmer this time. We'll see more HQ photos surfacing soon.

at least they are not integrating the battery... yet...

@jeffery, yea good to see redesign of keyboard layout, but i wonder if the casing is bigger. I only have about one half cm on either side of my keyboard... and the keys on the video look about the same size...

Added on January 16, 2012, 12:29 amalso, the touchpad looks a tad too much to the left
