QUOTE(itking @ Jun 1 2012, 11:33 AM) y580 also come around date 19-22th of june... can you confirmed me the specs for y580? i'm looking for that laptop. Not for me, but for my gf. Maybe you can pm me? Cause malaysian y480 was a disappointment. But i think y580 would be better, even if it doesnt come with the gtx 660m. I hope it comes with the gt 650m.

QUOTE(jujx @ Jun 1 2012, 12:31 PM) Isn't y480 650m? Ok, just checked, its only 640 when something amazing was released in US... don't expect too much when it comes to Malaysia. Huge disappointment. Haha. edit: right, so gtx 675m is a rebadge of 580m. Anyone know whats the difference of power between the 580m and the 660m? edit again: and so there you go peeps, the last day of the 4th week. Don't expect too much from the 5th week as well This post has been edited by girugaga86: Jun 1 2012, 12:52 PM

If Asus doesn't buck up, I think a lot of ppl may buy the Y580 instead of the G55VW, especially if the GPU is the GTX one. grrr. Pity, as I really like the design for the Asus G55VW.

Last i checked, it was about 40-50% better than the 660m. and yep, m17x. i'm looking for anything that is 15-17" with FHD, and strong gpu. Cpu can be either 3610, or 2670 or even 2820. Ram/ssd upgrades are more user accessible.. but money la but best if my G55 can just arrive quickly to stop my wandering mind.
