Asus is not bad, the problem is timing..asus need to make the laptops first, no choice but have to wait la.if this is a month later, all you would have got your laptops as soon as you all order it..its all timing

worse than my Alienware wait.. i only waited less than 2 weeks for my Alienware to be assembled n delivered.. no wonder Asus can never be on par with the taiko brands

Yes, but remember that the demand for this asus laptop is damn high worldwide and they just introduced this laptop at end of april in malaysia...furthermore the asus product guide that has the g55 is may to june..so this laptop may be available at june only, this laptop is still new bro..even when the alienware m14x and m17x was released,it took almost 2 months from release date for it to arrive in malaysia..

i guess maybe Asus never anticipated this much of demand for the G55.

I wonder if prev G53SX series got this much demand or not once its came out

none of us expected this seriously. Picture this, i've been waiting for a laptop for months. I remember I was here with you way before the G55 was released. That time, it was only rumors about g55 release dates. So when the G55 was actually released, i quickly pmed Devour and ordered from him right away. I can't blame myself for this either, I could only do what any other people would do in my situation. Cause common sense, the faster you order the faster you get it.

So i guess its a lesson learnt for all of us.

Besides, Asus Malaysia is partly to blame for this. According to our seller, if the blardy distributor didn't simply promise this and that there wont be so much confusion. A week then another week. Wtf seriously, not a single date or arrival was given.

The previous G53sx had similar issues. Many of the users here waited very long for it. Some even a month although i dont think thats impossible now cause ykgen and I are probably gonna face the same thing also it's almost 12am, it'll our 5th day of our 3rd week already

btw bro, after discussing with the seller for the Everki backpack. I might just get the Beacon its her recommendation la, and the swift doesn't really fit the G55 well too. Hope you don't mind we get the same back pack if i ever see someone carrying one, with a g55. Then i know its you. Haha
