Hey guys,

new G55 owner here, been using it for about 1 week and got to say its awesome! except for the weight of cause lol

anyway just to chk what sort of Asus Notebook bag u guys got? Mine is the Premium model and i dun think its meant for the G55.

It fits in just nice but i feel the top part aren't very protected as when u zip the bag up it just barely covers it.

Tried last weekend to find a slip for it but cant seem to find any that is bigger than 16".

alenn, i wanted to get it from forumers here but all sold out, so i rushed to PJ Digital Mall and manage to find 2 there at a shop call D-Fusion (M) Sdn Bhd

but they hike up the price knowing this model is selling like hot cake! but i manage to nego them to the ori non discounted price of RM3999, I added another 4GB so total came to RM4080

girugaga86, nope definately not Targus brand, its Asus brand. So means those that bought the 3D ver get the targus bag? Guess thats what u pay for in the additional RM1k la...

if i remember correctly, i think i did try out the swift at Harvey Norman, can't fit the G55 due to the width, unless u force it in

if u do manage to get it in, then u can't zip it up

also the G55VW correct dimension is

38.4 x 29.9 x 2.0~5.1 cm

u can't just use the slimmest point, u need to measure using the thickest point which is about 5cm

i guess maybe Asus never anticipated this much of demand for the G55.

I wonder if prev G53SX series got this much demand or not once its came out

The previous G53sx had similar issues. Many of the users here waited very long for it. Some even a month  doh.gif although i dont think thats impossible now cause ykgen and I are probably gonna face the same thing also  laugh.gif it's almost 12am, it'll our 5th day of our 3rd week already  unsure.gif

btw bro, after discussing with the seller for the Everki backpack. I might just get the Beacon  laugh.gif its her recommendation la, and the swift doesn't really fit the G55 well too. Hope you don't mind we get the same back pack  tongue.gif if i ever see someone carrying one, with a g55. Then i know its you. Haha
*
haha no prob... icon_rolleyes.gif

really pity u guys waiting so long still no news... 3 weeks in PC time is considered very long... imagine by the time u get it, its already obsolete

hope 2nd batch they update the CPU or something for u guys
