- very nice display
- big vent
- rubber palm rest, dirty resistant
- RoG wallpaper very nice
- chic-let keyboard, no spongy, back light
- speaker very lough, bass very heavy
- thicker then g53sx
- anti glossy display - full hd
- no optimus , no switchable graphic
- very nice laptop sleeve
- power adapter very very big + heavy

what we miss-
no time doing benchmark , gaming, stress test, as its not my laptop , 

not something you would like to carry around to coffee shops on a daily basis. this thing is heavy for a 15' but that's expected for a gaming laptop

kb is really nice and solid stuff. still trying to get used to it. at first i thought i may need to buy a mechanical kb to do key bashing for games but i think this laptop's kb would suffice.

freaking 15' has full hd reso on it. my eyes seriously look like wanna pop out. but i never expected the display to look this nice especially for a laptop.

no further reviews yet. overall very happy with its looks and design.

as devour mentioned, the ram slot is easily accessible by user but only 2 slots accessible by user.
hdd is just next to the ram slots so that one is also accessible by user.

U miss quite some stuff, side I/O. G75 gets Thunderbolt, G55 should be Display Port.
CPU-Z of the RAM, default model comes with 4GB, which mean below the keyboard there still one slot empty. Unless they put it 2x2GB.
Device manager to rectify its a single drive.
I still attached my G15 to game on regular gaming basis. Trying not to pressure the chiclets keyboard.

i buy a good 3d red and blue spectacles at rm 35
install iz3d driver.

now can play 3d games..easy, fast.

good 3d quality

- about the display  port, i didt have tension on it, since its not mine lappy 
- ya, i know total 4 ram slot, thats why i said only 2 user accessible, another slot ( below keyboard )- non user friendly - not easy to access    ,

- single drive things ? hehe,  if the laptop is mine, i will go thru all the test , but its not mine

for those who thinking of buying a mouse..try the cooler master storm inferno..damn nice the mouse..lighting also nice...bought at pc  depot..suits the g55
