hi, is there any G55VW-S1095V owner here?
I need clarify something as I already have ready stock in my hand.

understand from ASUS Representative, for G55VW-S1095V, it will not have mouse& backpack, only come with normal bag.
so any buyer got their mouse when purchasing G55VW-S1095V?

BTW the unit do come with build in subwoofer.

Gtx 660m is actually a good improvement over the Gtx 560m. If you're asking how much, i'd say around 20-30%. I'm guessing, with the two GPU that are mentioned above, i'd say that you're comparing the G75 with 670m with the G75 that comes with 660m? Just guessing.

An overclocked 660m will owned a stock 670m. But of course, an overclocked 670 > overclocked 660. But it comes down that what you need. Whether is it raw power that you seek for, or sacrifice a lil power for power efficiency? Cause while the new kepler architecture (660m) does not outperform the 670m, it will come in handy for power saving and stuff.

ya only normal bag, not backpack also. all the model ASUS G55VW-S1095V in Malaysia would be same. It is standard. Unless you found any come with mouse, do let me know.

the laptop is not coming with external sub-woofer liked Jay Chou Special Edition N45SL-VX021V but the sub-woofer is build-in.

I can only take the box pic, as it is seal for customer confident safety. you can look in my selling thread

probably CMOS battery problem. I cannot be sure. The reason you can turn it on with the AC is that, once you passed the CMOS barrier (with the AC plug in to help boot ur laptop) your laptop then can only be run smoothly on a battery. Maybe its best to just get a new battery, but test it first and see whether it is really the battery faulty.

but this laptop is only 1 month old..i dont think it is the battery problem..before this,it work just fine..usually,after i fully charged the battery,i will remove it for a week +,then i will use it again..does this seems to cause the problem?

1 month old? I thought there were no longer available stocks for the G53 by then. Where did you buy it? I have never encountered such problem before, I usually on my laptop without the battery, leaving the battery out for days as well. Never actually had such problem. Howbout you try putting in a new battery? just to check if its really battery faulty or smtg is really wrong with your machine. Anything just send it back to Asus to claim your warranty.

I did the same stuff, sometimes will use the battery once a month. Recently use the battery and drain it till its low until the warning pops up and recharge full and take it out.

That's the standard bag for Malaysia G53 series.
G74 gets the sleek black bag which is the same as G73JH ones.

Newer architecture farbrication tends to be more cooling and less power consuming.

On the other hand, 7970M is more powerful.

exactly the reason why i wanted an AW biggrin.gif the 7970, which i believe it is the strongest gpu out there right now. Too bad im trying to save up. if not.. hmm.gif and do you think asus will include the future 680m in their g series?

You mean i should try to switch on MY laptop while on battery only? I dont think i'll have a problem with that. And i dont recall seeing anyone here who cant turn on their laptop solely on their battery. But just letting you know, i dont own a G53. I will/might be a potential future user of the G55 though. Just trying to help you out with your problems smile.gif

although claiming warranty with asus would be a hassle, but if your problem still persists. Then i guess you have no choice. Maybe someone here with more experience can help you out? and were you in a hurry when you purchase this laptop bro? i remember the price for this model you're having is around rm4.3-4.6k. Am i right? biggrin.gif

Because i dont run them on battery most of the time, i use my laptop for long hours (overnight to do my works and stuff) so best if i take out the battery. And also because of games. I dont play games with battery on.

So, no one's yet to review the g55 screen? hmm.gif Really anticipating the laptop, but since imma gonna use a laptop for watching movies more than playing games, so the screen is basically the deciding factor on whether should i buy the laptop or not.
