So, no one's yet to review the g55 screen? Really anticipating the laptop, but since imma gonna use a laptop for watching movies more than playing games, so the screen is basically the deciding factor on whether should i buy the laptop or not.

bought it from a forumer Luminchung about a month + ago..my unit is g53sx nh71,US unit..problem is,how do i try with a new battery?thats the only battery i got..and claiming warranty with asus is such a hassle man..what if u try 1st if u can switch on the laptop while on battery only?

so when is the G55 coming out ? is out still available in Lowyat at rm3999? no better rates ar..  i heard the after sales of Asus is quite bad..

haha, yes. I'm just waiting for my G55 to arrive. And btw, i just checked with Asus rog site. G55 does come with a built in subwoofer.

You mean i should try to switch on MY laptop while on battery only? I dont think i'll have a problem with that. And i dont recall seeing anyone here who cant turn on their laptop solely on their battery. But just letting you know, i dont own a G53. I will/might be a potential future user of the G55 though. Just trying to help you out with your problems

Maybe someone here with more experience can help you out? and were you in a hurry when you purchase this laptop bro? i remember the price for this model you're having is around rm4.3-4.6k. so now your laptop cant turn on solely on battery? what happen if you put battery and ac adapter together?

most probably the pin either at your battery or the pin at your battery compartment at your laptop got problem..does the battery get hot?

no problem if i put the battery along with ac power..i already checked all the pin,no problem so far..and nope,the battery is not hot at all..
i already tried switching it on along with ac power,then i remove the ac power..the battery work just fine..it just that i cant turn it on when solely on battery..
