Unfortunately, I regret signing up for DiGi.  One bar or no bar 4G in my house if I'm lucky.  95% of the time on 3G, and sometimes 3G seems stuck even when on 3 or 4 bars.

Also, I cannot receive voice calls thru WhatsApp; just keep getting Miss Call.  Very sad.

You are very unlucky then, I guess 3g is congested there, if congested try calling digi, usually have a higher chance of them rectifying it. Good luck.

The speed will still be the same 64kbps. What Opera Max does, is to try and recompress the data in order to make it smaller and therefore use less data. Less data, of course, also means faster.

For example if you use a browser to access thestar.com.my, the home page may be 2MB in size. When Opera Max is enabled, the size might be reduced to 512k. So it's faster to load and also uses less of your data.

Main thing to remember when using Opera Max is to use normal un-encrypted http links because Opera Max won't work on https websites.
*
Recently, I find that Opera Max starts to get really slow, youtube does not load as fast as it used to, now there are way too many people using it. cry.gif

then it's time to turn on data compression in Chrome

but I'm also suspicious of the DiGi free passes, since these are the only new thing in your usage since you moved to DiGi, right?
*
Dg passes never gave me any issues.

Hi all,

Recently just ported over from maxis to digi 75plan and realized that the data usage drain qutie fast while scrolling fb & insta compared to maxis previosly.

Has anyone got the same problem here? Cos I know this plan doesn't comes with free fb.

Mind sharing any way to reduce the data usage draining for this matter if there is any haha.
*
Download opera max, insta switch to use less mobile data. Fb disable auto play.

Oh okay. Looks like I'm not the only one then.

Btw guys. I just activate my digi75 today and the digi app says expires tmr 12/02/2016?

Means I paid one month bill in advance just for one day use?
*
Yeah.... but they will charge you pro rata, meaning to say rm75*(the amount of day that you used that month **divided** by31).

Lets say you used it for two days, so 75 * 2/31, you will be paying around rm 5 for that month for two days worth of usage. They will deduct rm5 from the amount that you paid earlier on.

I am not very sure about how they calculate a month, 30 days or 31 days, but the formula should be correct, although I am not 100% certain.

Hey. Thanks for the info. I got charged around rm5.

Btw the Digi Music Freedom says free trial until 31st March 2016, does this means after 31st March my data will be used to stream the music instead of the free data?
*
That, I have no idea. Last when digi first launched it, i started using it. Once my pass expired, digi SMSed me saying that my pass has been extended for free. So since it first launched until now, I never paid a single sen, now with so many new subscribers, they might change it up, but I don't know. unsure.gif

Digi seems to have very little info (or very few options) when it comes to supplementary  plans. Anyone have any experience with sub lines on Digi? Looking for something with data/voice bundled together... Something like the u-mobile 70 (main) + 50 (sub) would be ideal, but unfortunately I'm not on u-mobile anymore. Else I might just put the sub lines under u-mobile if the price is unrealistic on Digi.
*
I think Digi's supplementary lines are under the DigicFamily section, although so I am not sure.
