I am in a quandry here.
Was looking at the SSD available and it will give me problems in storage space.
Currently using a 600gb hard drive and i usually save all my files on it for easy access. Though if i upgrade to SSD, it will severely limit my ability to store and move my files, cause I will be dependable on an external drive.
Does anyone recommend buying the seagate hybrid drive? Those have the storage available and some flash memory to help you boot things.

advice would be go for SSD, and get a External HDD(faster enough for u to transfer here and there thorugh out the HDD, as HDD(vry slow transfer, even u put it inside sata port)

Since core 2quad q9000 the processor is overkill for our daily life usage. Now the concern is SSD and graphic card. RAM doesn't effect much Added on May 18, 2012, 12:38 amQUOTE(xxxcriminal @ May 17 2012, 05:45 PM) hi, im planning to buy m14x i7 ivy bridge any1 know where i can get the best price?? RAM doesn't effect much yea but ssd doesnt mean anyting u only get fast bootup times and data transfer not noticable in gaming...not worth for the price......graphic card do matter though

For gaming, GPU is the most important, then followed by the HDD/SSD speed and CPU

Those are just their marketing strategy. This post has been edited by putochip123: May 18 2012, 10:51 AM
