If I'm not mistaken, x.8k for the machine from dell, 2k for other stuff.

Think I got a 10% discount from the total price, plus an additional discount of RM260+ a week after I ordered because they dropped the price or made some configuration change in the site. Also got the standard alienware back pack.

how did you install alienware login screen?

I followed instructions here and here

Shows how to get the login screen option back, the wallpapers, the avatars, registry settings, etc. I installed autopsy back but I guess we don't really need it much. Machine is still as fast as when I bought it

meanwhile the screen is still glossy based on the picture
glad tat they made a big intake vent at the bottom but it seems tat they still going with one single fan based on the exhaust vent

I like the body and huge vent.
Not sure whether it's prototype, hopefully the finalized will get better slap of keyboard.

If those are the new changes, then it's disappointing. Not too sure about the keyboard, AW is known for the flash. So we'll have to see. The air filters/vents are fine but if they're trying to dumb the flash down, then might as well go for the other laptops out there. Other than the build quality, AW has flash going for it.

Plus they're already removed tons of lighting options for their newer models that were on the older models. Bah!

Nothing confirmed yet, it could also just be something made by someone on the forums for fun They do a lot of mods.

But if that is real, a lot of people going to go buy Sager or something.

Lol ... i had ordered the X51 model with 256GB SSD. At first wanna asked the Dell Sales to whether can replace to normal HDD or not but they said can't.
