I have a budget of USD2k-2.2k to buy alienware in US and bring back, my question is, do Dell Malaysia service it as usual?

Thinking get M17XR3 with gtx580M and 3D display =X
*
Iirc if its international warranty (3 years), and if Malaysia does sell the same product, then yes hmm.gif

M18x can be covered in Malaysia.

If DELL Malaysia sales person tells you differently, it's not true, it's just a sales tactic.

We have gone through Dell US support centre, so we can 100% ensure about that.

Well, let say if Dell Malaysia really refuses to repair your M18x, you can contact Dell US on their website, they will assign their contractor in Malaysia to have your machine repaired.

The tracking is not accurate one bro laugh.gif
Delivery is almost always faster than the one shown online (to make customers happy I guess?) haha

extremeken: You can check Nvidia official website GPU latest driver. If anything not running well, just ensure you remember the current GPU driver version before you upgrade smile.gif so you just reinstalled the old driver.

The v 285.62 driver seemed to be stable for the M14x... which version are you using now?  hmm.gif

Try not to use inf files, they don't seemed to be very stable the last time I tried, better wait for reviews 1st,..

Should I be worried when my order status is still under "Order Received" ever since I placed the order? It has been 4 days already.

Thanks magnor and mikex. No reply since the first email requesting for pics. Have just sent then another email asking about the status. Have also included the link that magnor posted, hope you don't mind me using it.

Have also subtlety told them if they don't revert to me ASAP, I will escalate it to the proper channels. Will keep you guys posted. Thanks again peeps!

Just an update on my situation. They replaced the LCD for me without charge. One time offer. They also advised me to buy the warranty for a whopping RM1400!. Thanks a lot to magnor and mikex for the help guys. Truly appreciate it.
