Most probably no. Alienware will concentrate more on M14x as a balance between M11x and M15x.

i dont think thats the cause. M15x is high performance while Inspiron 15 is consumer line. both laptops are totally from different world.

the different is rm300, seem worth it

as long they use MXM ports, you can upgrade it in the future. by the way, RM300 difference in processor + RAM + 2TB HDD + blu-ray slot loaded drive is quite worth it.

M17x confirm can change gpu

choose the 6k ones , actually not much difference except 1.5tb hdd and 2 gb ram

and proc doesnt really make a lot of difference
