i think 64GB is enough. estimated usable space = 57GB. windows 8 consumes 18GB (with current updates), drivers, special software and peripherals consume about 4GB, thats enough.

At least it can be upgraded in the future unlike the SSD's in Macs.

maybe the value is RM3400 (since you bought it for RM4000 and the item aged for 4 months). try put the price at RM3500 and see if there is people ask for it at the garage sales.

yeah. also, what happens if the SSD in the Macs fails? especially those new retina models. if im not wrong, they use mSATA SSD like flash drive to save space, and 512GB of that can cost RM2xxx!

I also have a 512gb SSD for my operating system, applications, and a 1tb secondary drive for everything else.

The SSD has 435gb of space to use (the rest I have as raw space) and so far I only have 191gb used. Machine is still as fast as the day I got it (back in August 2012)

To clarify; using it as a cache drive. games all go into the 1 TB drive. Can upgrade the SSD in the future. No point getting it at Dell's prices brows.gif

It's a lot cheaper outside, never get SSDs from Dell. Ridiculous prices.
