Got the Alienware M17X R4 with max specs except for the graphics card cause I don't game on my PC and no SSD but dual 1TB drives. And RAM will be 16GB as I will be taking the other 8GB from my M17X R3.

I use my Alienware to listen to music and to watch Blu Ray Concerts.
Don't have a desktop and use my Alienware as a portable/desktop but for true portables its the MBA and iPad.

QUOTE(mansooriqbal @ Mar 28 2013, 07:38 PM) what do you do man. SO rich.. help out ur brothers here. Hehe I use fischer audio earphones eterna V2. I used to be an engineer and now I am doing business. But I spend most of my money on audio. Even the Alienware was bought for audio purposes besides the reason I first had which was for engineering purposes. Anyway, is the M17x keyboard a mechanical keyboard? What about the Alienware Tact keyboard?

QUOTE(komputer @ Apr 3 2013, 02:09 PM) m14x2 gb GT 650M 64gb SSD, 1TB HD 3 years protection Free deathadder mouse total damage 5300 64GB SSD? Mine was fitted with a 128GB one and was used exclusively as a C drive as it had another 1TB and it got clogged up just by program installations alone. And I do not even game, just installed Windows 8, iTunes, some CD ripping software and Chrome and the normal stuff and it got clogged. Dude, 64 GB is too small man, even for a dedicated C drive. And bear in mind that Alienware themselves have alot of drivers and peripherals too!

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Apr 4 2013, 05:59 PM) i bet thats a mSATA SSD. since he has extra 1TB hard drive for data files, so that is the only hard disk drive. correct me if im wrong bro komputer. Yes, my 17x has two HDD bays. One was installed with 1GB HDD and another a 128GB SSD as the C drive and used exclusively for installing programs. The 128 got clogged up with the normal programs anyone would have on their computer; and also the Alienware stock software.

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Apr 4 2013, 06:13 PM) i think 64GB is enough. estimated usable space = 57GB. windows 8 consumes 18GB (with current updates), drivers, special software and peripherals consume about 4GB, thats enough. At least it can be upgraded in the future unlike the SSD's in Macs. QUOTE(Pro3363 @ Apr 4 2013, 08:26 PM) Cool! 1 GB HDD! Sorry. Meant 1TB.
